Her storefront ad popped up IG as I was scrolling and I got so excited that Hampton was finally getting something like this. I went into the store yesterday and the space was very calming. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner and for the first time ever afterwards I could have giving her a hug. I got a couple herbs marshmallow root and ginger root as well as a lemongrass cold pressed soap bar.I used the soap bar this morning and it left my skin feeling clean but not stripped. The lather is so good and instantly reacts to the water. I was purchasing from an online brand for my soaps but her price is better, how big is it and it’s local. So I don’t have to wait on shipping. I found this brand while browsing on social media. After using them, I fell in love with cold processed soaps. I like how this brand in particular places an emphasis on being minimal & natural; from the clay derived colors to the scent profiles & packaging. I know soap making is a creative outlet, but I noticed how some might over do it with artificial colors, glitter, & synthetic fragrances which defeats the purpose for me. My sensitive skin (and my senses) can be overwhelmed by all of that. Also, the bars I received were well cured; which is something I pay close attention to. That means they’re hard, long lasting & have a great lather. I’ve experienced other soaps where that wasn’t the case. When I walked into the store it was instant aroma! The owner was very knowledgeable about her products! It’s a whole experience with the smells/aroma, and music! The green just reminded me of nature!
