Charm'd Lounge — Restaurant in Hampton

Meh. So I didn't go when they had the drinks specials so let me say that. Went on a Saturday night but it was dead due to a local concert which I assume was where everyone was. My LIT was $12. I had the wing special and mac and cheese. Wings were good. Mac and cheese tasted like easy Mac blue label with some parsley on top. My friend has the Hamburger steak which she did not finish. The rice was swollen and clearly overdone. It didn't even look pleasing to the eye. The do not do refunds so she basically wasted it. There was no one in there so the food should not have been rushed. Drink strength was decent. The wings are safe. Friend said the cabbage was decent. I'd probably be back just to check out the happy hour specials but not to eat. They gotta do better with the food. Overall meh. I'm not one to write reviews but, I felt compelled to support this deserving establishment. My sister and I were in town for Memorial Day weekend and stopped by on a Thursday night. To our surprise this unassuming spot served up the best, top-notch, food and drink that we experienced all weekend!! ( And let me tell you we went to quite a few "popular" places in Hampton and VA Beach) The environment at Charm'd Lounge was friendly, safe, and very entertaining (karaoke night). The owner and her staff were delightful!! We had a great time and this by far was the best night of our trip!! I can't wait to return and I highly recommend that you give Charm'd Lounge...

The parking lot needs some work done to it. But, once inside it’s nicer than the alley. I love the mirrors on stage. The music is up to date that they play. The bartenders are wonderful, but Sonya is my favorite she use to work at the Alley, Always good vibes with her.
