Wawa — Restaurant in Hampton

I very rarely stray from my usual Wawa @ Jefferson/Harpersville but today I had to come to this one - I hate to do it, because every experience is bad. I know things get busy, and I don't like to bother folks but shoot. the instructions for the drink making is on the sticker step by step. I get the same exact thing every time, and also tag it special order so they are supposed to call me over. I add in a fair amount of extras, that I pay for, that make a $4.99 drink into about an $8 drink, and not only can they not read the big "special order" letters, but they also don't add in the extras I pay for? that's a rip off, and it happens every time I come to this wawa. my friend gets a milkshake that's flavored by a powder that's mixed in, he said he can't taste it at all. my assumption is that the boss and/or owner is directing staff to skimp on anything they can - i.e. flavoring powders/syrups, added espresso shots you pay extra for, etc.

the fact that they won't even start making your drink until you pay, so you pay, and then they can screw up your drink however they want to. it's annoying because it's first world problems for sure, but when you're paying a ton extra for a drink in the first place they could at least make it correctly. in this economy?...

Obese, immature sandwich gurl amongst otherwise attentive staff in deli today. Threw out sandwich order # 311 @2:49. Came in from out of town for business and Got the typical, " who she supposed ta be" eye rolls from the locals....When my order number was called I wasn't immediately there but selecting snacks ( I forgot to pay first) So, pleasantly, I yelled over, "be right there, sorry" and approached 15 seconds later... Suddenly my 6ft. Slim Stature was invisible... She reverted (no doubt) to her off duty ghetto behavior of handling females from her low income background. Had I shook a cowbell 3 times instead of requesting my food, the porker would have at least looked at me but noooo. She instead carried on a loud, rude and flirtatious verbal 'ha ha' with staff. A thin male staffer had to come over and tell me that I was supposed to pay first... OK, I made a mistake... I apologize, my mind was elsewhere but the reason why I avoid many establishments with minimum wage minority servers has just been cemented. She was hopelessly Ignorant..'acting out' like a toddler while ruining the WAWa brand. Hopefully this is on camera ..view it...

I saw a shoplifter, reported to cashier she had the opportunity to take down the tag number and vehicle as he walked out the door to the gas pumps and pumped gas, instead she just looked at me, looked at him then ignored it all and continued checking clients out. So I went to a different part of the store asked for the manager, by the time he came out, I told him and we walked outside but he was long gone. The manager's take was here saw him when he came in, and knew exactly who I was talking about, he would just get him next time, he's sure he'll be back. I told him that he pumped gas, was the last car, he could check cc transactions, and also check the cameras for the tag. He was more concerned that I wasn't being obvious when reporting it, not to point just to say the pump number, things like that. He was nice enough, didn't look at me like I was crazy, like the...
