GRAND OPENING 7/26/25! SMALL FREE DRINK! Please bring some cash to tip staff as today they are not selling drinks. Sales start tomorrow. I've never had Clutch Coffee and am pretty picky. I would drive to Starbucks in Wescott instead of the Bigby that was close to my house to provide context. Coffee isn't just coffee to me. This new location is very close to my house and I have been counting down for today. I like trying new things, but more importantly, our area needs a coffee shop replacement for the Bigby since many people did frequent them. Back to my effort related to coffee. Does it require a right turn out of Indigo, turn about lane, D Rd./Ash Phos light u-turn to get there? Yes. Was it worth the initial opening chaos of cars? YES!!! I arrived before 8am and the DJ was already going with several staff walking the double line of cars taking orders and a gentleman directing to manage the congestion. They are handling it! The drink- I ordered a small Dream Bar (caramel, hazlenut & dark chocloate) with additional shots, "amped" version (used almond milk) and it is fantastic! Many times even SB's with additional espresso is still quite sweet tasting to me. The Dream Bar was smooth and had a perfect slight, what I call "espresso bite" with the additional shots- which I love!! It was perfect. Pulling up to Clutch Coffee Bar is always a treat, and today was no exception! I decided to shake things up a bit with my usual order and it paid off big time. Instead of the standard vanilla, I opted to replace it with bourbon caramel in my Caramel Macchiato, and let me tell you, it was a game-changer! The rich, smooth caramel with that hint of bourbon added a sophisticated twist to an already classic drink. It wasn't overly sweet, just perfectly balanced, allowing the coffee to shine through while still delivering that delicious caramel punch. The staff, as always, were super friendly and helpful, making the experience even better.
