RAW CHICKEN! Ya'll I waited in the drive through line on May 23 at 8pm for 20 minutes with my 3year old. What I thought would be a quick stop for dinner was nearly deathly! I ordered the new blackened chicken sandwich and a 3pc. After receiving the order I pulled over in the parking lot to feed my child. I opened her mashed potatoes which seemed fine and a leg piece from the chicken box. I pulled the meat from the bone to help it cool off so she could eat and saw no problems. However, when I bit my blackened chicken sandwich the taste was strange to say the least. I look at the meat and it is RAW! pink! not just a piece in the middle the ENTIRE SANDWICH WAS RAW! I attempt to go back in the drive through, due to having my daughter. After 10 minutes of the line not moving, I park and go inside. The young lady who took the order looked at the raw sandwich and agreed it was indeed raw. I asked for a refund. Another employee comes over to the counter and inspects the sandwich as well and confirms it is raw. At which point, the manager comes over and rudely says what is this, no hi , hello, what's the problem. I tell her my sandwich is raw, she confirms it by looking and ask for my receipt which I provide. She then in the see through kitchen behind the registers at which we are standing yells at the cook and tell him he must cook the sandwiches on a different setting, to which he says he did. She then looks at me and says i'm sorry its his first day. Ya'' ll RAW chicken?! and I'm supposed to accept that its just his first day? nonetheless she then ask for my card to provide the refund to which I ask, " just to be clear I am getting a full and not partial refund here?" This is when the situation escalates. The manager ask " where is the chicken?" I stated the chicken is raw and is in front of you that I bit! The rest is in the trash." She continues to demand the chicken. " Where is the chicken" she keeps repeating, to which I say I have been waiting for over 30 minutes with my child, eaten raw chicken , I need a full refund. She continues to refuse and repeat repeat repeat, "Where is the Chicken" I am with my child and mortified at the absurdity of the situation and just ask for my card back and leave. DO NOT EAT HERE! Read moreYes I was at Popeye's the night which is Saturday night and I was served by a black guy and his so-called manager and they treated me less than a customer that the guys Army took my money give me my my credit card back and my receipt I'm waiting for my food and I let them know that I didn't like the way they handle my service the manager told me to give her my card back so she can give me my money back and I cannot eat their food now please let me know if you think this is the proper way to handle a customer Spas I'm concerned they need to hire some more people that know what they're doing I told her I was not going to give her my card because the guy had already gave me my receipt and my card back I said I'm just waiting for my food she said she's not going to give me Popeyes food give her a call back and she'll give me my money well I told her no so she called the police I guess to have me removed but I told the police the same thing I told her I did not want the money back I wanted my food and she still refused to give me the food so I told me to call the corporate office and let them handle it because I left the I left the food there and I left my $20 on my card I left that there too she was not acting professional either especially with all that look group of little boys that she had working them boys that didn't know what they were doing so I asked you want to talk to me the right way she should have come outside and talk to me or ask me to come inside not tell me to the to the winter to hand me her my card so she can give me my money back and I can't eat their food what it what is so special about Popeye's Chicken she did not handle it professionally and a guys didn't know what...
Read moreI went to this location on June 1st around 4pm through drive-thru. It took an hour just to get through the line to order a 3pc spicy white meal, 2 spicy chicken sandwiches, and a classic chicken sandwich. Once at the window, the cashier repeated my order, took my cash and gave me my change and food, however, no receipt. I left, checked bag and realized that I was missing a sandwich. I was already half way down Ashley Phosphate and attempted to call the store to let them know as I had no intentions on returning same day. Unfortunately, my plans were altered due to me trying their number 7 times. 7 times!! To which the call was declined to it being busy due to being taken off the hook. I returned to the store by approximately 5:30 and went inside. Seems I was not the only one who was dealing with an incorrect order. There were 3-4 others in front of me with their own issues. Once I got a chance to speak to the manager, she never told me her name and I did not see a name tag, I explained what happened. She apologized and told the cashier that she needed to make sure to give out receipts. When I told her that I tried to call and wasn't able to get through, she chalked it up to them having issues, but when she walked to check the phone, so saw where the ringer had been turned off and left off the hook. I shook my head and said that was not good practice. One of the ladies in the kitchen replaced my missing items as she remembered my order from earlier.
