We had a party here. Everything was wonderful EXCEPT for the manager. He was a jerk the moment I showed up, which was ONLY 45 min early... I was hoping to to have a couple beers before others arrived, so I could relax and blow up a couple of balloons. He told me he had cold, filtered water available for guests but he served hot rotten egg water. He was rude to my guests. He was SUPER RUDE to the caterers. The other employees were great. I love everything about this about this place except for the employees. It is incredibly disappointing how rude the bartender is. My family goes in often to get a drinks here; although he has consistently been rude. Long story short- I was standing at the bar for a hot minute trying to order, the employee saw me & chose to ignore me.Then I come to find out he is one of the co owners. I’ve been following Hop Forged on Facebook since long before they opened, knowing that I needed to get my beer-loving husband there on my next visit to my hometown. We ended up visiting at long-last on the evening before Thanksgiving. The building was pleasantly spacious--not crammed with tables or blaring noise from every which direction.
