THE SHORT VERSION: Good food, good price. Worth the stop.
THE LONGER VERSION: Tim's is a worn-looking drive-in which could be easy to miss. I'm fairly certain that it's nesting in the bones of an original A&W and that some of the equipment may be original. But I kind of like the dive vibe, so that didn't put me off.
The menu is fairly simple - it's a burger drive in, so the main items on their menu are all burgers and fries. There were some chicken options and a grilled cheese sandwich, but mostly you are choosing from variations of hamburgers with or without cheese and with or without bacon.
Their soda fountain dispenses Pepsi products, which is a negative in my book, but it's never make or break for me.
I placed my order from my car by pressing an intercom button on the driver-side reader board after pulling in to one of the spaces. There was outdoor seating (picnic tables) and it looked like an order window for walk-ups, but I wanted to eat drive-in-style (and didn't see any other parking).
Let's talk food! First, the prices were great! I got a combo with a larger drink for less than a McDonald's meal. And I added a grilled cheese sandwich (a bargain at only $3.50). Altogether, $17. How often do you get a big meal for less than twenty bucks these days? I consider that a huge plus!
Next, the quality was spot on. The burger was good (a little thin, but tasted fine). The bacon was crispy, the cheese was melted, and the buns held together and tasted fresh. Lots of vegetables on top too. The tomato slice was just right, not too much lettuce but enough, and the dill pickle slices were amazing. I had to resist the urge to ask for a barrel to go with me... The grilled cheese was solid (in a good way) - two slices of Texas toast, lots of cheese (but not too much); grilled just right.
The fries were the only oddity, and they were good. I suppose the batter may have boosted the crunch a bit. I didn't see the point to it. It wasn't seasoned. It added nothing to what were decent fries. It didn't take anything away either. It was just there.
THE BOTTOM LINE: The food came fast, tasted good, was affordable, and I liked the atmosphere. ...

Every visit has been a great experience, I've never once had a bad interaction here. The staff are always friendly ☺️ and go above and beyond, which makes each stop a pleasure.
The food is both tasty and affordable. Portion sizes are generous, and the menu has great variety. I'm a big fan of the chicken teriyaki bowl! My daughter absolutely loves the $8 bundle meal, which includes a burger 🍔or chicken sandwich, nuggets, fries🍟, and a drink🥤, such a great deal. And don’t miss out on the candy blasters 🍦and yummy boboa drinks. 😋
Their burgers 🍔 are also incredibly good juicy, well-seasoned, and better than what you'd get at most chain restaurants. If you're in the area, give Tim’s Drive In a try. You won’t...
Read moreAfter my sister in law recommended for my family to give Tim’s a try, we finally did a couple of months ago. We’ve been back many times since then. You will not find better service than this establishment. Great service that gets your order right every single time.
My favorite item is the Teriyaki Bowl. It comes served with veggies, rice, and chicken. You can taste the marinade in the chicken itself, but the side of teriyaki sauce takes it over the top. I request my bowl to be made with extra veggies and less rice. The bowl with a large drink is only $10.00! You can’t beat that! The fresh brewed tea is so...
