Culver’s — Restaurant in Hanover Township

They've only been open a week I've been there 3 times in the week, the 2nd time I had ordered 2 large drinks and they gave me 2 mediums, then on my 3rd time there, Victoria took my ordered and she messed up my order. She gave me a medium Ice Cream Mixer when I had ordered a large, then Jen came out and started giving me attitude about it and had said custermers are always wrong and don't get what you order is supposed to ok. Then while still waiting for my food Jen yelled at me and said I couldn't stay that I had to leave. At that point I still didn't have all of my order and I just stood there until I got all of my order.The manager was super nice and she started crying and I gave her a hug and told her it was gonna be alright Jen was very unprofessional and needs to be let go and the people that have to work the counter need to start doing a better job. Jen's one of the worst workers there and she looks like shes on drugs. Culvers needs to drug test Jen. I know they just opened, I expected some alittle chaos. But waiting 50 minutes for lunch this afternoon was ridiculous. I was blocked in the whole time so I couldn't leave even if I wanted to. The car in front of me was stuck for 5 minutes after he got his food. There was only one person running the food out during this chaotic time. And they had absolutely no hustle. The cars behind us were getting their orders before us. It was just a mess. And to top if off, the girl who was out at the drive thru taking orders, hated her job. She literally huffed and rollered her eyes after she asked "anything else" and we said yes. I worked 12 years in customer service, believe me, I know it sucks. But it's their job. So for her to get upset about DOING HER JOB, is unacceptable. The food was hot good and correct. So props on that. But you guys have alot of kinks still and I hope you figure it out soon! Culver's in Cedar Lake, Indiana finally opened today, 10/16/2023 and did a great job on my first visit! Great location on 133rd AVE with very easy access from both the front (133rd AVE) and also the rear shopping center parking lot which is great for those coming from shopping and don't want to enter via the front. Both entrances and exits are very easy to access. Handicap parking is avail at the entrance. The take-out lanes (2) are unique as they have huts with a live person. Actually went around 2ce, one had a live person, the other had the usual microphone style. Loved the human touch in the hut with the live person. The food was fast, and the waiting lanes were organized to pull up to lane A, B or C. Very friendly. The outdoor patio was quaint with tables and outdoor lights strung for eating outdoors if desired.
