Duck Donuts — Restaurant in Hanover Township

LIFE CHANGING.

We’ve been patiently awaiting the opening of Duck Donuts since this location was announced. There are no good donut places around the area, and as someone who worked in a bakery for years I’ve been dying for a good donut.

The shop itself is so cute and very clean. Ample parking and easily accessible location. All in all, I waited about ten minutes from the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left with a dozen FRESH made WARM donuts.

The flavor menu is outrageous. We did 12 different flavors and are looking forward to trying different options next time.

All delicious but the strawberry shortcake, peanut butter and jelly, and crumb cake were TO DIE FOR.

Super friendly and quick service too. Being hand made to order, I hope people remember to tip!

Came here opening day and it was great. The place is small so the line is to the left and the waiting area is to the right. It was packed with people however the line moved very quickly. The price is high but these are freshly made to order. Meaning you can watch the dough drop into the hot oil and slide down the conveyor belt to be coated in the style of your choosing. The demand for hot doughnuts on opening day was high. It took 5 minutes to order a breakfast dozen and a large black coffee for 29.57 $. I complained mentally about the price but the warm sweet salty maple bacon treat quickly turned my mood around. Yes DD is cheaper, but they are sitting around for who knows how long, you are paying for hot freshly fried donuts. It took about 25 minutes at peak time to get my order. I think it’s worth it and will be back at hopefully less busy time. The coffee was ok but not spectacular. There are not too many seats so maybe in the spring they’ll add some outdoor seating close by. They have an APP to order ahead that may save time. Great addition to the...

Well there goes my diet!! 🤣🤣 Today I went to check out Duck Donuts in Whippany, NJ. I arrived at their quiet time which was good so I wouldn't have to wait long. We ordered from the kiosk so we could look at each donut they had , you can build your own donut as well. They have coffee, espresso and other drinks. They do serve breakfast donut sandwiches.

We ended up picking: Cinnamon bun The boardwalk Peanut butter paradise And Midnight madness

I ordered a cappuccino as well with an extra shot of espresso.

The donuts are a good size and super decadent! They are cake like donuts and not airy. Their seasonal donut is cotton candy but im not a fan of cotton candy flavored anything. I excited to see their seasonal when fall comes.

Definitely give them a try! Treat co-workers, family or friends. They do have a duck donuts fundraiser for any organizations or schools...
