Whippany Pizzeria — Restaurant in Hanover Township

A bad review because someone behind the counter wouldn't talk about their pizza? Cmon man. Someone else reviewed it and said the pizza was flavorless?? Absolutely not true. I grew up around Philly/S Jersey area and the last 10 years in Northern NJ/NYC area. So I've had my share of good pizza. This pizza was excellent. Perfectly cooked, plenty of cheese but not soggy in the middle. Great crust. I was greeted by a very pleasant young woman at the counter, the place is in a new building and is super clean inside. It's amazing what people take the time to complain about which hurts the local business because it shows 4 stars overall instead of 5. So I wanted to take the time to give them a 5 star review. I've eaten at a bunch of other "5 star" pizza places in Whippany and Hanover Twp. This has been the best pizza thus far and I'm anxious to try other things on the menu. Go support this place. And don't write nonsense...

I wish I could give this restaurant and the owner negative stars. After waiting over an hour we received the wrong order. When I called to let the restaurant know, they told me to call back because they didn’t have time to talk to a customer. Need I mention the fact that THE OWNER said he would absolutely not talk to me and that he didn’t have time to discuss what was wrong with the order. He obviously cares about the customers. He spoke horribly to the young girl who I initially had on the phone, which doesn’t say much about his character- not just a person, but a professional and a business owner. He didn’t even offer to fix our order, and when asked, he refused to refund the order. Instead, he called me rude after telling him how dissatisfied I was. I let him know we will never be ordering from his restaurant again, to which he replied “good” then hung up. Nice right? All for trying to support local...

Hi in response to Sara D who wrote the review about how her order was messed up. I was the girl on the phone with her while she was screaming and yelling at me. I told her numerous times I had to hang up because it was very busy[like Friday nights always are] and she would not take no for an answer. I told her very nicely and she continued to be rude and inconsiderate. She has some nerve talking about this situation the way she did because it is not true. If anyone was the rude one it was her. My boss was extremely busy at the time and could not talk at the moment. I told her to call back after 8 when the business calmed down and she refused. It was not the fact he didn't want to talk to her ,it was that he couldn't at the moment due to the amount of people in the store...
