Mimi's Too Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in Hanover Township

We have ordered delivery a bunch of times from here. I was shocked how fast the delivery was. They have always beat the estimated delivery time. I love their roast beef. The meat is piled high. I tend to get it with a side of coleslaw and the only complaint is the coleslaw might have too much mayo but it still tastes great on the roast beef sub. The Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese is outstanding. My wife loves the salad with a scoop of chicken salad and bacon. The bacon crumble on the salad is freshly made bacon and not some leftover stuff. She is also allergic to gluten and she has never had an issue when we order which is great. Another favorite of mine is their pastrami on rye with mustard. Honestly, it gives Katz's a run for its money. It might not be Katz's but the taste is great and for the price point it beats going into NYC. It is one of the best pastrami sandwiches I have found in the area. Hard to beat Mimi's. Even my kids, one of whom is a very picky eater, love it and request it. Whippany doesn't have many gems but Mimi's is on the list. Go and try it. Get the Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese with salt, pepper, ketchup and let your taste buds...

I was on my way back to the Poconos from a stop in NJ and I was hungry. Normally through my TikTok channel or website I receive many suggestions of places to try but for the town of Whippany which I was near at the time, not much was there. I decided to jump on google/yelp and do a little research and I saw a photo of a sandwich I needed in my life. I then immediately went to Mimi's Too and showed them the image and said "make me whatever this is".

Luckily they did, and it was FANTASTIC. This Jersey meat (Pork Roll/Taylor ham, I refuse to fight over the name), Egg, and cheese was an instant winner. I opened the foil and literally salivated. Not only does it look fantastic though, it also tasted fantastic! A little char on the meat, the egg was still just under well cooked so the yolk was a bit wet, plenty of cheese, and a nearly perfect kaiser roll. All of that for $7?! Yeah sign me up.

You're not going to go here for the decor. You're going to go here for the best sandwiches in the area. You're going to go here for those sandwiches to be prepared and served by some very nice people indeed. You might come here for extremely generously portioned catering orders as well, by the way. But if you're placing such a catering order for pickup, I recommend leaving enough time to pause and have yourself a sandwich. If I may recommend a pastrami with coleslaw and Russian dressing, it's gonna have heaping amount of meat on it and the pastrami will melt in your mouth. While I'm recommending specifics, they make a heck of a roast beef club as well. I also recommend a diet Dr. Brown's cream soda. Why the DIET cream soda, you ask?
