Mr. C's Hot Dogs and More — Restaurant in Hanover Township

So I have ordered from here many times for delivery at work and carried out while at home. Today I called for a delivery to work @ 10:22 am. I work kind of far from their location and typically would not be in their normal delivery area, however they have told me in the past that they would deliver there for a $5 delivery charge, I had no problem with that. They did not bring the delivery until 12:08 pm. We called a few times to check on the order and were just told to wait no appologies or excuses. When the food got there we checked it to make sure it was hot. The food was luke warm fries were soggy but overall pretty good. I did not tip the driver because the order was over a half an hour late without appology or anything its just our fault that we are far away. Turns out when I looked at my receipt they upped the delivery charge to $7. I accepted that I understand the cost of doing business. Then the so called manager calls us back at our office to inform us that they will no longer be delivering to us because we are too far away and that we tied her driver up for minutes while we checked the order. This really rubbed me the wrong way. I called this establishment and asked if they were able to deliver to me and they said they were able to accomidate that and even charged me extra for that service but then when they cant deliver on that promise they blame me. I called them back because I was mad and let them know how I feel but they offered no appology and no sympathy for my situation. If you are thinking about ordering from here think twice. Whoever says this place is better than Beef Villa has lousy taste in food. Beef Villa, on a scale of 1 to 10, is a 9, and this place is a -3. Went to this place when they first opened, although the only other customer was already in there and eating, the counter person, a heavy set bleached blond woman, continued her conversation with that customer for appx. 5 minutes before I was even greeted. I was standing at the counter between this woman and the customer she was talking with. I only stayed there that long because my Wife wanted to try the food. So I finally was able to order and the woman was very rude. I took the food home and was disgusted with the boiled overcooked hot dogs and half cooked greasy fries. So, after many years of not going there we were going to give them another try. So, I called and asked if they had delivery and was told "not this late" They closed in an hour and I am 2 minutes away from them in heavy traffic. The woman on the phone didn't even bother to find out. BAD BUSINESS!!!! NEVER...

I've been going to this place for years, but my last experience made me really want to write a review. I was picking up my order with my 5 year old daughter and she wanted something from the little quarter machines in there, but I only had a credit card and the girl working heard it and was very sweet talking to her and gave her 4 quarters to get stuff from the machines. I know it is only a dollar, but this is the kind of family atmosphere I see each time I go there, but this was above and beyond. Now to the food, it is GREAT food and GREAT prices. My favorite and haven't found anything else comparable is the foot long polish sausage. The beef sandwich has a ton of beef and better taste and price than portillos. All the appetizers are great.
