Crab Shack — Restaurant in Hanover

The crabs are always great and the Snowballs 2. Can't wait for them to open up this summer. my family's been getting crabs there for years. Coming from south of the Mason-Dixon line in my thirties it was the one thing that I missed Old Bay blue crabs from the Eastern Shore. Now living here and being adopted as a Pennsylvania and almost 28 years agoI found a few decent seafood places. However, I don't think any compare and have as good a taste as Crab Shack! Plus they were my first Saving Grace for crabs. As well been making them taste great for the last 25 years! this is a family-run business and both wife Lori who runs the snowball end of the business and her husband the crabs are wonderful hard-working people and always a pleasure to deal with. over the last 10 yearsif you were a regular customer you even seen the son and daughter putting time in helping their parents at the business. They always seem to find great young peopleto maintain the business in the evenings at the snowball stand. Always busy kicking out snowballs, cones, an ice cream sundaes to customers lined across the parking lot quickly,courteously, while always wearing a smile and being friendly. The staff or usually alwayswonderful promising young peoplethat are primed to be the potential of our communityand is wonderful as the small business owners who employed in here! kudos to a wonderful establishment. I'm waiting for crab time! I'll be back after I'm done picking those for a snowball at Desert time. Thank you guys for always providing a good experience let's use the tummy as well...

So good everything is a great quality and taste great. They are willing to tweek things to your liking and never dissapoint. The snowballs are really smooth and have the best shaved ice. The malts are amazing! My kids love it there, they enhoy the milkshakes and the variety of flavors. Everyone working seems to be really nice. The parking is easy to access, they have room for a wheelchair. There is a bench to sit but the area around there is well run down. There is also only one bench. But if you dont mind chilling in your car or taking it home...

I was at the ice cream snowball side of the stand. Got a choc snowball with vanilla ice cream in the middle. It was wonderful. Friend got a snowball and liked hers also. I also got a vanilla shake for my husband. He loved it. They have real snowballs here, not snowcones. They offer a marshmallow topping option. Soft serve ice cream is also available. Free parking available but busy lot...
