This is the worst of the worst Italian sub I’ve ever had!!!!!!! Had No taste!!!!!!! This place should not get one star!!!!!!!!!! We order 3 six inch subs cost a little over $29.00… did not make them the way we ask…did not get onions or oil and vinegar that we wanted, little meat and the hard salami was sliced with the the wrapper so when you took a bite of the sub you were pulling that Piece of meat out of the sub hanging by the piece of the wrapper that was around the hard salami….the wrapper was Translucent…. so you didn’t even know it was on the salami!!!! That was $29 in the garbage! We could not eat it we had to throw it away!!!!! It was take out as we were traveling!!! 6/20/2025 was the date of this Nasty sub order!!!! In the picture if you tap on photo and I inlarge it you can see the translucent wrapper that was cut on the salami hangin off of the roll as I took a bite and had to pull the sub away from me and it was on all the salami! I know I could’ve took the salami off and then peeled the edges to get it off the meat, but I shouldn’t have to do that and plus the sub didn’t have no taste and wasn’t made the way we wanted it!!!

<chewing sounds> oh.. I’m sorry, I didn’t see you there. <more chewing sounds> 🥪🥪😋 I’m going to be blunt, you need to eat here. The food is fantastic. When you order a sub and start eating, and close your eyes — you’re transported to a different place. A different time, when food was crafted and the people who put their name on it actually cared. This is what mainstream sandwich shops wish they were. A consistently reliable place that gave you a traditional deli experience. A true gem in Hanover. There’s plenty of seating if you want to eat in, and online ordering that takes Apple Pay if you wanna grab and go. The staff is always friendly and the Cream of Crab Soup makes you feel like you’re sitting on the Chesapeake Bay, watching the boats roll by and battling jealous seagulls who want your meal. Think I’m being over the top in my review? Then stop by here and grab a bite and compare notes. You won’t be disappointed.

Clean place Fast service Everything looks appealing Ordered an Italian sub with the works 9. 99 for a day old piece of bread with quality boars head meats Fresh lettuce and beautiful tomatoes The bread being very day or more old ruined the experience. Sorry but that's my honest review Will not go again. No napkins in bag and not cut in half! Had to rip in half with my hands and stale bread crumbles apart. Sadly 😞 disappointed.

Placed an online order around 10:50 a.m. for pickup at 12 noon for a shrimp salad sandwich on rye bread with lettuce and a light sprinkle of Old Bay seasoning and 1 lb of broccoli salad. Arrived at 12:05 to pickup my order. No orders were located on the pickup table. I waited a few minutes until an employee asked to assist the next customer (not many people in the deli). No one spoke so I indicated that I was there to pickup an order placed online. They took my name and indicated that they were running behind but it would only be a few minutes. Two other people indicated that they also placed an online order. Additional customers came into the deli and were promptly waited on. After a couple of these customers one of the girls behind the counter indicated she was going to assist with the online orders. The other two online orders received their order with a thank you or acknowledgment for their patience. I finally received my order at 12:25 p.m. with no type of acknowledgment. When I went to eat my sandwich it had one piece of lettuce, three tomatoes, two rings of onion and twelve pickles (?!?!) with no Old Bay seasoning (asked for lettuce and Old Bay seasoning only). Further, the sandwich only contained a small amount of shrimp salad which only covered about half the bread. I would have received better and quicker service if I would have come directly into the deli. I had also paid online and left a small tip. Very disappointed in the...

Decent food, but that will be my last time in there today. No one advised me that you MUST take a number to be served and not "frowned down upon", after all, there were only one or two people in front of me, not like there was a line out the door. The lady behind me took a number and I figured that's okay, I was here ahead of her I'm sure they will just take me in order. Not the case! They basically looked daggers at me when I told them I had not seen the number taking machine so they proceeded to skip over me and take the person after me, and that is when I stormed out. I've never been treated so rudely after waiting in line patiently for over 10 minutes while some of the slowest people I've ever come across make the food for you. Customer service like this should not be tolerated and/or accepted at any time. This is not the first time I've had to wait for service and have had rude people behind the counter taking my order that can barely give you the time of day. I sure hope my kid's school does not go back there for their fundraising cards, because they did not even allow me to use 2 of them at a time, just one per visit. They have lost my business from here on out,...
