We were looking for a breakfast place because our usuals are always too crowded. Very welcoming space that is very bright and clean. Fast and friendly service. Affordable prices especially for the high quality of the food. They have ready made pastries so we got those first and they were wonderful especially warmed up. We came for a sit down breakfast. We all got iced teas which we were told were freshly brewed and tasted great. There are many options for customising breakfast sandwiches to your liking. We got our breakfast sandwiches quickly after. The pastries and sandwiches were both excellent. I especially enjoyed my breakfast sandwich on an english muffin which was light and fresh tasting. I also would like to make it known that this spot is very accessible when you get inside. There are wide walkways for a walker or wheelchair to get through and there is also an accessible bathroom with a bar on one side for getting up and down and space to maneuver your mobility device. Overall I would very much recommend this place for anyone looking for a good breakfast or lunch or even a quick coffee. Support local and small...
Read moreI'd like to be able to leave a good review here, however, I can't really do so, I also can't leave a negative one. I drove here specifically for the Italian mufaletta, arrived at 130 in the afternoon, waited and went to order. Cashier had to go and check if it was available or not, came back and informed me that "he hasn't cut that meat yet" and very politely asked if I wanted to try something else, which I didn't. She told me at that point I could come back in a half an hour to get the sandwich I actually wanted. Based on that, I went elsewhere. Not sure how or why I can go into Jersey Mike's and they can cut all of the meat for a sandwich in the matter of moments, as can any grocery store, but id have to wait 30 minutes here. I genuinely had high hopes and was super excited for a delicious sandwich, but having to come back 30 minutes later for something that should be able to be done on the spot seems rather...
Read moreIt was a snow day today and every coffee shop around us was closed due to the weather. My boyfriend and I REALLY wanted to enjoy this snowy day with a nice cup of coffee. Thankfully Sallies & Sammies saved the day! They were the only shop open and welcomed us with open arms and positive energy!
We ordered the Melted Snowman and some sandwiches and the taste was beyond delicious! It exceeded our expectations!! We will definitely be back again. From the minute we walked in, everything about this place was wonderful. The atmosphere, the friendly staff, the drinks, the food, everything! It was worth the drive from Hampstead! ☺️
Thanks Sallies & Sammies for making our first time...
