By reading all the negative reviews, I’m surprised this place is still in business. We went through the drive-up, took about 15 minutes in line. I would have gotten out of line but couldn’t. The guy on the speaker was rude, not a good first impression. After we paid him, we went to the next window. That same guy came up and said he needed more money. He said, I’m here to get the money you owe me! I was shocked because I used a card, why would I owe him more money?? He apparently didn’t put the right total in. He made me feel like I was trying to rip him off, it wasn’t me. When we got our order, the fries were cold. And they missed a topping on my sandwich. I went back in for it, decided to talk to the manager about the situation. He said are you referring to the extra $1.06? He said the guy was written up for a short drawer many times he’s just making sure his drawer is correct. He said the employee is an emergency employee, they wouldn’t have used him but they are short help. He said he’s going to be fired before the day is over. Not once during our conversation did the manager apologize for the rude behavior, the wrong order, all he did was keep making excuses for things. This is a very poor manager, that’s why they have very poor employees and customer service. Please tell me why we have to lower our standards to suit the lower standard of employees. Shouldn’t we raise our standards and teach the employees to rise to those standards. You need to take note of chick-fil-a and their employees. Their standards are high and the employees rise to those or even go above. Chick-fil-a employees are always pleasant and willing to help. Did not feel that once at your establishment. Wendy’s need to make improvements across the board, what would Dave think of his restaurants now?! I’m sure he’d be very disappointed. Do...

Read moreChili and nuggets were hot and fresh. Dining room was sort of clean. It's everything you'd expect from fast food, however... something crazy happened, and I'll recount it below:
My father and I were having a sit-down lunch with 4 other guests in the dining area. We were talking our time and ended up being the last occupied table at 1:30 pm. I remarked that it was oddly not very busy on a Saturday. As we talked about the lack of patrons, we noticed the employees were missing, as well. The speculation was that everyone was in the back prepping or cleaning, but that at least one person might want to clean up the dining area.
Then, I saw a young man trying to enter the restaurant. The doors were locked from the outside. He was poking about the perimeter seemingly looking for a way in - no employees to speak of. He left my field of view and consequently my thoughts as we finished lunch.
We left. We were outside getting in the vehicle when the 'perimeter-poker' came up to us and asked if we were also trying to get in and have up. "No," I shared. "We just came out."
"I ordered online. I can't get in the door, reach anyone by phone, or make contact with anyone in the drive-thru. They have my money and my order," he said.
The three of us noticed that no other cars were in the lot. No activity was noticeable from outside. No person from Wendy's appeared to be on the premises. We left.
4 stars for the food. 3 stars for cleanliness. 5 stars for the...
