Noodle Man — Restaurant in Happy Valley

This place is so good and has such unique flavors that I constantly crave it. I've been coming here for years and every time has been just as mindblowing as the first. In all that time I've only had one bad experience where my order wasn't substituted for allergies, and they quickly remade the order. They're understanding of food allergies here, which I really appreciate because there's nothing I can do about that and other places have rolled their eyes and served me food that put me in the hospital. I can put my trust in the server and chef at Noodle Man! They somehow have the best fried rice I've tasted anywhere, and every friend I've brought has enjoyed their noodles. The interior is small with few tables, but classy. Especially the little nook to the right of the door. If you're tall enough, you can watch them make noodles through a glass pane around the kitchen. They even provide treats for children year round, not just on Halloween! The outside has a couple tables shared with other businesses on a small strip of sidewalk.. There is one accessibity parking space directly in front of the doors. There is a tv if you want to watch something while you eat. Whether for a date, a meetup, cheering your heartbroken friend, or just treating yourself, you can't go wrong. It's just so delicious I bet you'll at least smile once while...

Came here for lunch as I've had a few friends recommend this place. They were not offering any indoor seating so we placed our order and sat outside. The process was a little confusing and the staff spoke very little English. We did not know if we needed to pay before or after and how we would know if our food was ready. After sitting outside the staff flagged us through the window once it was ready and we payed then. My friend ordered a tea and added boba. Before they could had it to him they realized they forgot the boba and fixed it. Turns out it was the wrong tea entirely but my friend didn't care enough to have them fix it. Our food was amazingly fresh! You could tell the freshness of the noodles! Along with the flavor being very strong, nothing bland here! I ordered the seafood noodle and the beef noodle soup. We both here very happy with our meals. I will say mine did lack some of the seafood itself (shrimp & scallop) especially compared to the noodles. I have been here well over a dozen times. The flavor of the food is delicious. I always order b7 which is a soup that comes with chicken AND chicken meatballs. I always ask them to hold the chicken and that I won’t prefer the chicken meatballs. There is often a language barrier but they usually get it correct. This last time I ordered, that’s what I asked for again and they gave me no meat at all. I then explained I like the meatballs and only asked for no chicken. A few minutes later she came back with a side cup with 1 meatball in it. I was so caught off guard… they usually give an about 10 or so in the soup. I thought maybe they would then give me a discount for not getting meat. Once I got my receipt it was the same price. Totally felt like they ripped me off.
