In my 40+ years of being on this Earth and being Scottish I have had more than my share of pies. I've had pies, sausage rolls, pasties, steak bakes.....the list goes on. Since moving to the US nearly 20 years ago a decent sausage roll and pie have been hard to come across. There is just something special about covering meat with pastry. It makes the ideal lunchtime quick bite. Adam has not disappointed me with the offerings here. The sausage roll had the perfect fall apart pastry. It had a great amount of meat inside and was seasoned as it should be. The Lamb & Rosemary pie had great crust and the lamb didn't taste like you're eating it straight off the sheep. If you're planning a trip to the mountain and heading up Sunnyside, grab a few of his offerings on the way. Heading home from work, grab some pies that can easily reheated for dinner.
