I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my recent experiences in hopes that the owner can see what's happening. This used to be one of my favorite spots for breakfast, but over the past few months the quality and service have noticeably declined. On my most recent visit, I placed an early morning order for two Luxe bagels and a cappuccino. The order confirmation said it would be ready by 8:20 AM-plenty of time for the staff to prepare it before my daughter arrived to pick it up. Unfortunately, when she got there, our order hadn't even been started. Instead, several other customers were served before any attention was given to our order.
When the food finally came out, it was very disappointing. The bagel wasn't toasted, and as you can see from the photo, the presentation and quality were far from what you'd expect for a $15 bagel. To make matters worse, the cappuccino wasn't even ready we had to leave without it, come back later, and by that time I was already behind schedule dropping my daughter off at school and she was late.
All in all, I spent nearly $40 for this order, and the experience fell far short of what it used to be. I truly hope management takes note, because this place once had so much potential, and l'd love to see it return to the quality and service it...
Read moreStopped by for breakfast and coffee SAT am when we read they had bagels. I got the breakfast bagel and my husband the lox bagel. With mine, I opted for the turkey bacon and pesto. It was absolutely delicious and there was a smear of a whipped chive cream cheese on the side that was fun to dip in. My husband said his was good but not the classic Jewish deli lox and bagel experience he was looking for. That, I'm quite sure, was by design. His sandwich was beautiful and included some pesto, drizzle of some great looking balsamic vinegar etc. I may try it next time! The thing we both noted is the bagels were more like crogels, croissant-bagels. They were softer and quite delicious with cheese on top. I also had an iced oat milk latte which was wonderful also. Wish they had larger options but it...
Read moreIf I could give fewer stars, I would. I ordered a coffee, a BLT with the soup and their random pastry option for just over $30. I got no coffee. I missed that the BLT is actually a BLTE as the egg concoction is in the description but not included in the name, and it was dry and nasty. The soup looks horrific, no cheese, no crouton, just the half filled messy container full of the worst French onion soup I've ever had. The random pastry option must be code for whatever didn't sell yesterday because this cinnamon roll is hard as a rock. I've tried squishing it to see if maybe the inside had some give. The icing cracked, but the dry roll didn't budge. I was really excited to try this place. I love breakfast foods and pastry and cute little cafes. I will never...
