Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Hardinsburg

Honestly I would’ve given it a zero rating if I could but that wasn’t an option. I ordered a burger that after getting it I found out they didn’t have the ingredients for because I tried it and it was missing the flavor. It happened to be the main thing making it special. I mean who sells an A1 burger without having A1! When I took it back and asked they said they didn’t have it so I asked for something else since it was the main ingredient to the specialty burger and they took my food back fries and all and gave me what I ordered in the place of the A1 burger and it happened to be over $4 cheaper. They refused to refund the money and said they would give me a blizzard instead but that’s all they will do. I asked for something like a coupon or card to get the blizzard at a different time since I’ve been sick recently and didn’t want anything milk based but I had to get it today or never because they don’t do that! Also, I don’t normally complain much less on the internet but the pretzels my son ordered were so saturated with grease that they were mush!!! I would definitely not recommend this place for their food but especially for the lack of customer service!

I ordered a full order of biscuits and gravy and a pancake platter with sausage. The biscuits and gravy were okay, but the sausage was burnt and chewy. The pancakes have no flavor at all, they gave no butter or syrup with them, they're thin and have a grainy texture. They remind me of hotel free breakfast pancakes, only slightly worse. I couldn't finish them, the texture was just awful. I fed the sausage to my dog. The customer service was very much lacking. The lady at the drive thru window was talking nonstop with her coworker, I couldnt even get her attention to ask for syrup. I'll stick with Dranes, they never disappoint. Dranes is cheaper anyway, has better quality food and has much better...

Occasionally we stop to get a ice cream cone. The ice cream is melting as they hand it to us. It’s so soft if you lick it to much the ice cream will fall off in your lap. (This is the third time we’ve try the drive through) So, we try going in to have our ice cream. It’s not melting and it’s firm. Actually it even tastes better! Are the cones we ordered in the drive through sitting on the counter too long before being handed to us? I don’t care for this very soft ice cream.
