When speaking strictly on the experience that is what this is based off of, it is very difficult to get a five-star experience, so I always start with four being the best and then go down from there. In trying to pick a quality Burger, I chose this establishment over the competition because the quality of the burger and the price that I paid was well worth it. It was only when I got to the drive-thru window that the experience became uncomfortable. I had ordered two burgers and one small fry that came to about $15 and some change. I took the time to ask customer service representative at the window the correct total so that I can provide the correct change and then gave her the exact change that would have gave me back $5 as my change. She immediately proceeded to take the $20 bill and ignore the change that I was trying to give her & typed it into the computer as if I did not provide her change when I very much put it in her hand. She seemed comfortable to take my money and proceeding with the transaction, but then another associate came to the back window to observe her work habits. Then she started to ask suspiciously about my money. Now her and her Associate take the time to chat amongst themselves, and then she proceeded to pull out the marker and now and check the money she was more than willing to take and put in the drawer but then realized she made a mistake and now wanted to check and see if it was real because of some kind of conversation she had with her associate. Then I had to wait for a manager to come back to the window to correct her mistake and give me the $1 change that I was do. I didn't like how they made me feel like I was wrong because she couldn't count change and type it into the computer correctly, but I provided the correct...
Read moreThis location appears to be falling in to the all too common disappointment of opening strong and then quickly fading in terms of value and quality. We were initially excited to have a Burger King close to us and ate here several times a week. As each week passed since their opening back last fall/winter of 2018, so did their quality control and attention to detail. This is sad as they could be a great option in this area. However, to make it here, they need to focus on training and consistency of standards. Attached is a pic I took of my Bacon Cheeseburger this evening. This is before I have done anything to it. I simply removed the top bun and took a picture. As you can see, it left much to be desired. Additionally, french fries were cold and onion rings were cold and soggy. Vegetables were wilted. Overall, every item in our orders were of poor quality and absent of any pride or concern.
So - Burger King - you can still save this location and turn this around. You need capable management here to focus on the basics and maintaining quality and consistency of standards. Training for all employees is a must. Employees at every level should espouse the same level of quality that is sought in training and in accordance with established standards. To allow such poor quality food to be served is evidence of an employee or employees who simply do not care. This should be unacceptable.
As training is reinforced and standards are required at every level, cleanliness should be the focus after food quality and control. Good luck - I am hopeful that you can turn this location around and get it...
Read moreThis is a burger King i am all to familier with. I dread going there but it's the closest one and I still like the food. So, I go to the drive thru, there are 2 cars in front of me so I already know I am now in for a long wait. I get to the speaker and order my food in a fairly decent time. When I drive around to the pay window, both cars in front of me are already on their way to the food window. I sit at the pay window looking at the cashier who barely glanced my way. I sat there expecting her to open the window and say something in the lines of "be right with you" or "your total is ?". But that didn't happen. I watched the other two cars in front of me both get their food and drive off. Meanwhile, im still sitting at the pay window waiting for acknowledgment. Nope...never happened. After several more moments and realized there are no other cars in the drive thru, not even taking orders, I went ahead and proceeded to the food window. (Aprox. 12 minutes of starring at the cashier and realizing she was NOT going to acknowledge me) I expected someone their to take my money but instead they handed me my food and told me to have a good night. So, I drove off. If they don't want my money, that's fine, however, I still want my food. This BK is notoriously known for being slow AF, but i did get a free family meal for it this time....
