Sprinkles on Top Ice Creamery — Restaurant in Harker Heights

Beside being one of our favorite ice cream spot here in Killeen, we love to support veteran owned businesses because my husband is also a veteran. Anyway, we came to this establishment today and had to leave immediately because a customer had a huge pet snake wrapped all around her. I have a huge phobia for those kind of animals and since I wasn’t paying attention I didn’t see it as we entered. My husband quickly told us to turn around and exit the door. I didn’t know what was going on until we were out of the establishment. That’s when he told me that there’s a lady in there with a huge snake approx. 5 feet in length. They have sign on the door saying no pets allowed except service animals. According to the ADA Title ll & lll, “service animals must be a dog or (miniature horse)….”. My heart rate was raising and now I’m overall having this very uneasy feeling to always look over my shoulders. You don’t expect to go to an ice cream shop and see things like that, especially when the business doesn’t comply with its own rules. Statistics claim 1/2 of Americans have an anxious feeling around snakes and I am sad to admit my return to this business will never happen again. My husband called and complained to the manager but she was very puzzled and quiet. She did admit to not being more aware of the situation or it’s...

It's a small family ice cream shop but sadly its not the greatest taste and small scoops for the price. When we went they had only 1 person working behind the counter working the inside customers and the drive thru. She was not the fastest employee and was having problems making the orders. One family ordered way before us ordered a root beer float. They had all finished their ice cream and we had been served when they finally got the float. When we were about to order someone drove up to drive thru. They were given a menu and asked if they already new what they wanted. They began to order. We had been in line at this time for 20 minutes. She started to make their order then stopped and asked if we mind her to finish the order. We let her finish. We were served after being their for 30 min. for 2 double scoop ice creams. Wish the surfing cow was still there. The ice cream was 100% better tasting, more flavors and the customer service was great. I'm not sure what happen but Sprinkles is not...

So so delicious!!! The ladies there were super nice too!!

Got a scoop of cheese cake ice cream in a waffle bowl, a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream in a sprinkle waffle bowl and a chocolate waffle cone with 2 scoops.

Also got our pup a treat with oatmeal, bananas, peanut butter and a milk-bone on top! (I cut it in half for the photo but ended up giving him all of it!)

The scoop portions are perfect too. Not too much, not too little!

Needless to say, Our pup approves just as much as we do. He definitely went bananas for the treat while we enjoyed our ice cream.
