If I could give 0 stars I would.. I went to this location and ordered food, the girl at the window argued with me about how many drinks I ordered and would not provide a receipt. I was so angry I just left.. what’s one drink short.. got home to see that over half my order was wrong or missing. So I just got on the app and re ordered the stuff that was missing because after a 16hr shift at work I just wanted to eat.. but once again it was missing things again! So I called the location and explained what happened to the manager, Lynn, and she told me that they were extremely short staffed and basically made every excuse when “I’m sorry” would have sufficed. Then she goes on to tell me that I am not the only one that has complained about the same issue and that the girl was sent home because I wasn’t the first to complain. Then she tells me I can drive back to the location and get a refund on both orders. I get there and the girl that was “sent home” is standing right there. This manager LIED by assuming she knew who I was talking about without even asking for a description or name or anything and offered the information that she was sent home in the first place.. I didn’t just ask “hey did you send that rude girl home” so as a manager #1 the customer doesn’t care what your struggles are and the customers are why you have a job in the first place and if your unwilling to apologize this is a huge problem! #2 don’t say things just because you think it’s what your customer wants to hear, like telling me she sent someone home when clearly she just wanted me off the phone but then to tell me to come into the store and see for myself that in fact that did not happen she wanted to tell me I was wrong…. HUGE MISTAKE! I ordered from this store weekly.. now i will drive out of my way just to miss that store and find another one. Consider new staff or some training on how to appreciate their customers. WORST staff I have encountered in a very long time it’s very evident they do not know how to deal with people....
Read moreIt's Taco Bell, not your favorite Taqueria. However, where else can you get a complete meal for $5? Taco Bell has been a dinner saver quite a few times when it has been late kids games and nobody wants chicken or burgers and it is open a lot later than most other fast food places. I must say this visit was different than the other times I have ever come, normally the Baja Blast is usually out so they must have just gotten a new filter in or they finally changed it out, as this time it actually tasted like a Baja Blast out the bottle and fresher if that makes sense. So that was definitely a surprise when I took a sip. Of course I had to come for the nacho fries since they won't put it on the menu as a regular. I forgot to ask for fresh fries, as the ones ordered were slightly soggy and they didn't even fill the boxes up completely which ticked me off. Then they threw them all in a bag instead of using the actual boxes they have in the store. The taco shells tasted stale, like they had been sitting out all week unwrapped. The only thing that turned out okay was the burrito, and again they must have just brought out a fresh batch of meat because this time the meat wasn't soggy and tasteless, it actually looked like ground beef and had some taste to it, so that was pretty surprising. I mean I understand that Taco Bell isn't a culinary delight taco place so it was nice to actually have something taste alright. The service was friendly and fairly fast on this particular night. I still must say I was disappointed with the fries especially with them being such a favorite, however, next time I will do a walk in and ask that they be dropped fresh and the boxes are filled up completely. Overall, this visit was one of the better ones I have had when I chose to get Taco Bell, the kids like it so won't be writing it off yet and again where else can you get a $5 complete meal or something like it late night? Hopefully the quality of food and drinks stays like it...
Read moreI wouldn’t say we were regulars, but every once in a while, we used to stop by Taco Bell for a quick meal, especially when on the road. It’s been some time since we’ve last went, and I must say that we were very disappointed with our visit on Monday late afternoon. I acknowledge that all restaurants, including fast food places, must deal with rising prices, and unfortunately as prices go up, serving sizes seem to go down. We were shocked at how much Taco Bell has changed and really feel at this point; it is not good value for your money. Plus, outstanding customer service can go a long way in helping a restaurant, but it really didn’t seem like the people working at this location were happy with their job and we didn’t feel valued as a customer. When we asked the woman taking our order if the new dipping burritos were good, she told us that she didn’t know, because she doesn’t eat it.
I got the Steak Grilled Cheese Burrito Combo, that comes with a Beef Taco and a large drink in addition to the burrito. The combo is almost $10, and you would have to spend an extra 90 cents to get a taco supreme, which I didn’t do. The burrito was basically the same size as the taco, and it was mostly just tortilla with very little filling. The taco had a little meat with some questionable lettuce and a pinch of cheese. My wife got the Discovery Luxe Box with Steak Cheesy Dipping Burritos. Again, the small burritos were mostly tortilla with very little filling and her tacos were just as disappointing as mine was. I included photos so you can decide for yourself.
I’m sure that the fast-food business is tough, but in my opinion, Taco Bell has cut a lot of corners when it comes to food quantity, and it’s no longer worth the money. I hope this is a local problem at this Harker Heights store, but we won’t be trying any others to compare. Sadly, we are done...
