Johnny Rockets Harlingen Stuart Plaza — Restaurant in Harlingen

I went to Johnny Rockets for lunch with my coworkers. When it came time to pay, we each got our bill. The cashier charged me the wrong amount but gave me the cash difference. I walked out and waited for my coworkers to finish. They signaled me back inside where the general manager, Aaron Rodriguez told me that he had refunded my sale and he needed my debit card again to charge the correct amount. I asked for a credit receipt and he was unable to give me one. He was defensive and rude. He told me I needed to check my account online tomorrow because refunds take up to 24 hours to post. I told him I shouldn't have to check my account for a mistake that wasn't my fault. I ended up paying cash. He never offered an apology but rather told me that I needed to hurry and pay because there was a line behind me. When I told him that he was being rude and hadn't offered an apology, he said he didn't realize that I felt I needed an apology. I will NEVER go to this restaurant again simply because of this bad experience. He was the General Manager. What kind of training has he had with customer service? This was a huge disappointment. He represents Johnny Rockets and this is how he treats his customers....

Johnny Rockets is definitely a one of kind place to visit. The staff is fun. The food is good. The first impression wasn't quite nailed. When ordering the Honey BBQ Chicken Salad, the kitchen gave us the regular chicken salad. It was missing the corn, black beans, and the lettuce didn't feel like it was washed. The bowl the salad comes in is very light. Be careful for it will move on you. The burgers and fries are delicious and that's where Johnny Rockets truly shines. The staff is very prompt to come do drink refills and check on the quality of the food. We got double charged on the milkshakes and had to get that fixed. Even though the food is good, their prices are way too high. $50 for 3 people is crazy. We might come back...

Not returning at all. They charge you full price for a milkshake that is not even full according to their policy. They fill it with whipped cream and then you try to let them know and the cook approaches you & it comes out of his mouth that it should be filled to the top of the h on the cup. I point out that it is not and that it is whipped cream and he states he has to charge me for another milkshake if I want it filled. This place opened up with great service but lately it has gone down. They are better off closing it since they have been running it to the ground. I was even told it would take 25 minutes to get the food which was fine. But I won't pay full price and they not follow...
