Today, was a terrible experience for the first time after eating here since a child. Called in a take out order as usual with the same name always used. Called and once order was taken and picked up; my spouse started eaten (noticing it’s two plates of shrimp). We ordered flounder/ shrimp, salt & pepper, crispy small portion plates. Never once did the person say over the phone smaller portions are no longer offered. Turned around on 485 and once returned they searched for the ticket after giving them the name and number. One person at the cash register found a ticket with the wrong name but right number and kept looking at other tickets asking was that my order ( No sir) after waiting 15 mins for order, returning awaiting another 10 mins for them to look At receipt’s. Someone finally came to resubmit the order which was another 15 minutes. Once he brought my order out he recalculated using his phone saying you have to pay $14 which is the difference. Ok, goes to the car and after all this time they call my spouse whom was in the car. After, 45 minutes asking him about the order (WOW). I came back to the register and he has the original ticket with the wrong name but right number. The man at the cash register said it was written on the receipt correctly. Why would I turn around and return a order which was not correct? Like did we take the fish out the box? Just to return the shrimp? Instead of taken ownership of the mistake he went back and forth with me about something simple. The wrong order was giving! His last words was were pretty accurate with our order SARCASTICALLY. If you was that dead on “The name of the order would have been correct to start with”. (Human error we all make them) We always get our food fried crispy and today it’s was EXTRA CRISPY…….. barely could enjoy I guess because the order had to be re done. NOT A MISTAKE OF THE CUSTOMER!

Read moreIt's hit or miss. Sometimes the food is excellent, sometimes it's mediocre. I'm going to order food from them again for dinner and see if they can redeem themselves. I looked at their menu today and noticed price hikes and they no longer have the option to choose between small and large fried platters. Update: So, I ordered the 8 oz. cheeseburger with onion rings. It was also served with 6 hush puppies and a small serving of coleslaw. The burger includes mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato slices, and onion. It also had a pickle on the side. The burger was good, but I took the 2 thick tomato slices off after one bite because they were juicy, but bland and were affecting the taste of the burger. Once I removed them the burger was very good. I added ketchup and mustard, plus extra mayonnaise to mine. The onion rings were once again on the bland side, but unlike last time where most of the coating stayed on, this time a lot of the coating fell off the moment I transferred it from the container to my plate. Speaking of the container, there were pieces of broken off styrofoam at the bottom. I'm just glad I didn't order a pasta dish. That mess would have been mixed up with my food. I would have been chewing on pieces of packaging. I would give the burger (minus tomato) a 7 out of 10, the hush puppies a 10 out of 10, and the onion rings a 2 out of 10 (even ketchup couldn't save them). I never ate the coleslaw because I was very full from everything else I ate. I also ordered a piece of coconut pineapple cake which I enjoyed the last time I ordered it, so hopefully it will be just as good. However, I'm currently too...

I think I am going to recommend that the agency ICE visit you guys because I know the lady who took out order is an illegal immigrant who could not speak any English!!! She got our order wrong and when we complain about it the manager told us it was her first day to work with her and that he would give us 10% off the food and he could not re cook it because the kitchen was closing. What! I have never heard of such bad customer service in my life so we have to eat the plate that we did not order which came out cold by the way. Also, I ordered a steak that was supposed to be medium and as you can see by the pictures posted with this review it is very well done. But the manager had no resolution for us he just told us he could give us 15% off of one meal and 10% off the other which added up to like maybe $4.33 combined. That is totally unacceptable I will would not be returning back to this restaurant and recommend that you guys get some people that can speak English because that's ridiculous. You go in to order your food in the waitresss cannot understand you so your order comes out wrong and we still have to pay for it. That's not how it happens in America!
