This is becoming my favorite lunch truck. It's located at the corner of 2nd Street and Pine Street, right outside of Santander Bank. I've only tried their Lamb Gyro on Pita Bread, but that alone is enough for me to write a 4 star review for now. Great Value: $5 for chicken gyro and $6 for lamb or beef gyro, tax included. Of course a low price tag alone is not a sufficient gauge of value. They absolutely jam-pack the protein of your choice into each pita bread. One gyro is enough to stuff your face! Great Taste: I am salivating as I look at the picture I took and reminisce the experience. The lamb with white and spicy sauces was delicious and addicting. The pita bread is the thick, warm, springy kind I crave for a gyro, and they nailed it. Comparisons: Based on my experiences around Harrisburg thus far: The gyro from Phyllo is nice, but the serving is way too small; 2nd Street Shawarma isn't bad but they serve gyros on wraps instead of springy pitas. I've yet to find and try Gyro Express. So far my vote goes to New York Gyro. UPDATE: After trying out Gyro Express, I am now crowning New York Gyros the king of gyros in the Harrisburg area. Up one star to 5 :)

So friendly and food so delicious!!! I live in Lancaster and want to bring my family just to try the food!! This is the best gyro around and I've tried them all. The diners and even souvlaki bros aren't even good. This little food truck is EXCELLENT. We will have to organize a trip to the museum and make a little day trip out of it so some of my friends/family can try.

Huge portions at a reasonable price! The guy who owns this is is so friendly. I absolutely loved the chicken over rice and gyro! So flavorful, and the chicken was so tender. The rice and pita bread were so soft. I love all the sauce too, I definitely recommend for a late night eat after going out.

It’s not recommended to any one, The taste was bad and meet was not fresh, It’s too salty meat. Moroccan person’s attitude was soo rude. They mentioned price $5 on price cart and charged me $8 without drink, when asked the reason, he said take your money and buy from other shop, while he knows, there is no other halal truck. I know sometime you don’t care about money but at least food should be serve fresh and healthy. I will not recommend this food truck to anyone. Totally bad and worst experience in my life. I didn’t want to...

This is a solid halal cart! Flavors are all there. Service is fast. I’m from Philly and have had quite a bit of halal and this is a great food truck to have here in Harrisburg, adding to late night food options. My only constructive complaint is the menu prices seem to be about $2 too high on everything. My chicken with rice was $12, and for Harrisburg that seems a little high. $10 would be more appropriate. The food is good tho and there isn’t a lot of late night options so I’ll...
