I have a gluten intolerance. Nothing I typically order from other places that I ordered from here, were safe for me to eat. SPICY SALMON SUSHI, NO BUENO, i couldn't even bite threw the RICE AND SEASWEED, and when I bit into it, all the filling came out and it wasn't the consistency you want your spicy salmon roll to be. I'm never ordering from here again!! Their food is made out of very poor quality ingredients. they definitely cut corners when and where they can. They use as much BS filler as they can so you don't really know what the food is made of, just what they say it is. I also ordered grilled scallops and crabb, but what I got was 4 crabcakes topped with 1 bay(small) scallop each. In my mind, it's like 6 scallops topped with crab meat. Now I understand why there aren't pictures for the food, or full list of Ingredients. I would never recommend eating here. I honestly feel kind of bad for feeding my dinner to the birds. I hope it doesn't make any of them sick. Wasted 16$, but silver lining, at least the birds seem happy with their upgraded dinner from bread tonight, and I only wasted money on order for me and not a huge order for a bunch of people and it end up being a giant disappointing meal!!! Got to find the silver linings people, but would still give this place zero stars if I could. I'm made at myself. If I would have realized where the restaurant was before ordering, I definitely wouldn't have ordered sushi from...
Read moreSushi is an acquired taste and only over a period of time do you,.. first off,.. learn the many ways ppl eat it,.. and secondly,.. you learn what it is you like and don't like,. There are a number of ways to eat sushi and if you were to ask a dozen people, "How do you eat sushi?" They would all give you a different answer,..my thoughts,.. well, you can do the Cookie Monster thing and just gobble it on down or... take a small taste of the wasabi to clean the palate of the tongue and open up the sinus. This will bring out the fullness of the many flavors wrap'd within the sushi,..Next,.. ginger or no,.. Really the ginger is supposed to help the raw fishes,..some fishes are lite with very little texture, the ginger is there to help to give the fish some texture so it doesn't seem that you're chewing air,..O.o,,..Really though, a better use for ginger is to eat it with sashimi,.. You may have a certain type of fish or seafood you prefer on your sush,..at this point, it's chow time,..no matter how you ritualize your sushi,.. along with a number of vegetables/condiments,.. perhaps you prefer a certain style/type of sushi, a specialty sushi roll or custom built,.. I have not yet been disappointed from any of the meals I've ordered from this restaurant,.. you won't be disappointed from...
Read moreThis is a definite go-to place for whenever you want to hit up Downtown Harrisburg. I ordered here twice before on DoorDash but honestly, this is one of those instances where you have to visit in person because it’s night and day. The service is quick but kind; the entree dishes are flavorful, and the sushi is fresh. Perfect texture of fish, nothing slimy or unclean. As for the hot meals, I had the chicken katsu don, and WOW. As tempting as it may be to order the large size, I implore you all to start off with the small first because it is beyond filling. Probably the best Don I’ve had in the city by far. Not greasy or heavy whatsoever.
Definitely the best for going with a group of friends or family, even after a busy weekday. My mom and I paid around $45 for two but that was because we got two different sushi plates and got sake. Definitely the most cost effective if you and your sushi partner-in-crime just want to eat some good sushi; many of the plates are reasonably priced and when you share them, you’ll be satisfied...
