I'll start by giving grace. I am and have been a big fan of Zaxbys. I think the Kee road location needs help. First, I thank the firm for hiring young people and giving them First jobs and work experience. However, it's chaotic. This is the 3rd meal that I paid for where the order took entirely too long. This was an online order and I skipped a competitor across the street due to the line. It took one hour from my order to receiving it. I was approached at least 2 times with the wrong order from a young lady visibly frustrated and tired as well as once more by a different person all with the wrong orders. They went car by car asking "did your order". This is a bad look and frustrating. The drive through got so backed up they started parking them adding to the confusion and frustration. It got so bad, the girls bring food out started just using the drive-thru window to get food and bring to the parking lot? Where is or was the manager in all of this and what organizational skills are possibly lacking? How old is the manager? Respectfully it seems like the store is mismanaged and giving customers and young employees a bad experience. It was very irritating to watch the chaos. I cannot blame the food runners. Things like this come from the top. Also, staffing seemed low. This is a very busy location all of the time and it's across from a high ranking busy chicken competitor. Staffing and organization are required to compete and remain. Needless to say. The crisp of my fries were gone due to box sweat. My sandwich was cold, Right under lukewarm. There are some lessons to be learned from this. I am a detailed person and somewhat a food and services critic. I love writing beautiful reviews. I like writing useful feedback reviews but prefer not to. I'm sad because I feel like I waste my money patronizing a place that consistently charges a lot and under delivers. We'll see...
Read moreI guess we're back to children working here again or just unprofessional people. I've gotten good service here before, but I've also gotten poor service here. I thought I'd give them another chance but I approached the window and asked for a chicken tenders, family meal and the person working there asked me if that was the one with 20 chicken tenders. Instead of saying I'm not sure you work here. I said I'm not sure it's been awhile since I ordered it. It cost something like $28 and they responded with the chicken tenders family meal cost $36... I won't continue to explain this entire conversation, but basically it was a dumb conversation that was completely unnecessary. When I asked that I needed to know the price with military discount. She stated that she didn't know what it was with the 10% off. I guess she wasn't sure if her register was capable of calculating that for her, for the customer and all. Here we are again unable to go to another restaurant. It's okay, it's evidence that I should could continue to cook in my own home. It was very unfortunate that the power went out today, that is why I gave Zaxby's in Harrisburg a chance anyway, but their service explains why there were very few vehicles present. Needless to say, I entered our conversation with Don't worry about it and a sigh a bullet dodged. Look, I don't proclaim to be perfect Patty, far from from her but I do try to treat others the way I want to be treated and that's all I ask and return. Thoughts to live by for me are, if this is the service I'm receiving. Just thinking about how the food is being prepared. Thanks for...
Read moreI don’t think I’ve ever had a bad Zaxbys experience until today and I order from Zaxbys frequently for my family. From the very beginning the young lady couldn’t hear me and I couldn’t hear her because her coworkers were seriously yelling and goofing around ( she did apologize and said “ yeah I know they’re loud” .. then I’m greeted by another person with an attitude.. kept rushing me to pull up without giving me all of my drinks which her coworker pointed out.. then another person comes out and just stares at me holding my bag.. no greeting or anything .. then they got my order wrong and instead of bringing me the condiments I asked for he chose to wait until another customers food was ready so he didn’t have to make two trips.. by then my sons food was cold and we couldn’t heat it up because it was already rock solid.. bread was hard as well… $30 down the drain smh .. actually $60 because I had to drive across the street and order Chick-fil-A.. thanks a lot! Oh and the soda machine was out of sprite so I gave them my sons drink back and they made fun of him because he bit on his straw and they all danced around like the cup had cooties which made my son feel so small. Oh and then two coworkers started arguing because one said “ yeah I heard you said my name “ Yeah this one drive through experience was ALOT and this was my first time at...
