A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Harrison Township

So this is one of those combo A&W and Kentucky Fried Chicken.

I wanted the BBQ burger, sorry we're out of BBQ sauce. OK,

then I'll have the foot long coney dog i saw on the inherent menu, , sorry we dont serve that item on our limited menu.

Ok then let's try the coney dog with cheese...sorry we're out of coney sauce...

The place was absolutely horrible, the garbage cans were overflowing. The soda fountain machine had crud sliding down the side of it and all kinds of mold and garbage underneath it, it was disgusting.

Every single table in the place was dirty even though we were the only patrons eating in at the time. I even mentioned to the girl at the front "hey all your tables are dirty", she just said "sorry" and went back to what she was doing.

This is NASTY! definitely not a place you want to come eat if you want to keep your appetite. God knows what goes on in the back where they are preparing food.

Oh, and don't go in the bathrooms, pretty sure they hadn't been...

I can’t really review the food, or the service really, because we walked out thirty seconds after we walked in. Would you like to know why? They were out of — wait for it — ROOT BEER! They were out of freaking A&W Root Beer… at a restaurant called A&W FREAKING RESTAURANT!!! I cannot fathom the overwhelming mismanagement that leads to that! I just can’t. How do you run out of a product that’s literally written on the sign outside???

Unbelievable. I cannot think of a more efficient way for a restaurant to say, “We don’t give a damn.” But the kid working the register was really polite and apologetic about it — NOT!

Seriously, just close down if you’ve given...

This A&W is just sad man. I had never been to an A&W before and had a decent experience my first time through. I’ve been several times since and it’s been bad each time. The workers clearly don’t want to be there and don’t bother hiding it. They’re constantly out of root beer, ice cream, and other food items. Like isn’t that your thing? Burger King should never run out of burgers, KFC should never run out of chicken. My theory is the workers just don’t feel like making the food or drink so they say they’re out or they’ve stopped serving it for the night. Smh, just sad. We...
