Deb was the hostess who took us to our table and got us settled in. She was warm, friendly, personable, and ensured we all were comfortable. Our waitress Rhonda was outstanding! I can’t sing enough praises about this woman. She went above and beyond for me and my family, but especially for my daughter who has ASD. She was so sweet, welcoming, accepting and inclusive of my daughter, even so much as to bring out a small bowl of raw fruits and veggies my daughter just wanted to play with/ test out texture wise for free and because of her kindness my daughter left actually trying each one and even trying a different meat today. Rhonda was attentive to our needs at all times and made sure to check in with us and ensure we had everything we needed. I left a restaurant feeling like for the first time my daughter and family were treated with respect, thoughtfulness, generosity, and compassion, while still receiving an amazing meal (thank you to the cooks, dishwashers, cleaners, everyone who made it possible for our meal to be served with cleanliness, superb deliciousness, kept the extras coming, and made sure our food came out at a reasonable amount of time.) I loved witnessing the hostess Deb not only doing her job but helping out where she could not expecting anything in return. She even came over and helped our waitress Rhonda without being asked and her kindness shone through. Not only that, but after the meal my family was leaving to pay up front and I took care of the trash, stacked the plates, and cups, and wiped down the table. My heart melted when Rhonda hugged me and said thank you and that I made her job so much easier and that I was so sweet. I thanked her but I wasn’t being sweet. I was being respectful. All I had to say to this beautiful, hardworking, compassionate woman was that I know her job can be stressful, tiring, and that sometimes she receives customers unlike my family that take things out on their waitresses or waiters or hostesses and I wanted her to know that it was not okay and she deserved to be treated this way. I will never forget the experience I had at this Cracker Barrel thanks to the warm and friendly hostess Deb and the thoughtful, attentive, and compassionate waitress Rhonda. They both deserve raises and they will be in my prayers forever for...
Read moreCracker Barrel is one of the most exceptional restaurants I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. From the moment I stepped inside the door, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere, which made me feel right at home.
The restaurant's decor is reminiscent of a traditional Southern country store, with antique items and old-fashioned knick-knacks adorning the walls and shelves. The overall ambiance of the place is cozy and welcoming, perfect for enjoying a relaxing meal with friends or family.
But what really sets Cracker Barrel apart is the food. Every dish I have tried has been nothing short of outstanding. The restaurant's menu is a veritable feast of classic Southern comfort foods, with a variety of options to suit every taste and preference.
I particularly love the country-style fried steak, which is cooked to perfection and served with creamy mashed potatoes and gravy. The biscuits are light, flaky, and buttery, and the macaroni and cheese is the epitome of cheesy goodness. The breakfast menu is equally impressive, with a range of delicious options such as pancakes, eggs, and bacon.
One thing that really stands out about Cracker Barrel is the exceptional service. The staff is always friendly, courteous, and attentive, making sure that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. The servers are knowledgeable about the menu and are always happy to make recommendations or answer any questions.
Overall, I would highly recommend Cracker Barrel to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. Whether you're craving a hearty meal or just want to indulge in some delicious comfort food, this restaurant is sure to exceed your expectations. The warm and welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service make Cracker Barrel a must-visit destination for anyone who appreciates...
Read moreFood is down home comfort food...meat loaf, pot roast, mashed potatoes green beans, fried and grilled chicken, Mac n cheese, breakfast anytime. Coffee is always good. Some seasonal food and drink options like berry tea, cinnamon latte. Basic selection of beer and wine to accompany your meal. We were there for an early Friday dinner. I had the grilled chicken chef salad with lettuce, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, hard boiled egg and shredded cheddar cheese. Grilled chicken had the smokey seasoning which added a nice rich fresh off the grill taste. I didn't taste a "smokey" flavor nor was there a bar-b- q flavor. It was juicy, not dried out, warm when served.Only downside to the salad was it lacked mixed greens or spinach to up the nutrition value. The bign- ettes are cinnamon sugar coated possibly a bit under cooked as they were gooey on the inside and served before my salad. I think I would have preferred to have been them served at the end of the meal instead of before with coffee. I was not able to eat all of the salad so took some home. My husband had the fish dinner with green beans and a side salad (extra cost). 2 Nice size pieces light crispy crust on white fish. Although parking lot looked very full, no wait for a table. All tables are hard seat chairs, no booths, multiple seating options to accommodate large or small groups. There was a fire in the fireplace and nice to see on a cool, rainy dreary December day. Service was attentive by Brody. He was cheerful, checked in with us several times during the meal, refilled our drinks and brought us the check...
