Beef-A-Roo — Restaurant in Harrison

The two ladies at the cashier (one a trainee) greeted us as we walked in the door and took notice it was our first time in as we were soaking in all the options on the menu. We were informed that everything was made to order and was even informed there were things that were not listed on the menu yet but we could order. The environment was clean. Paying was easy. While we were eating, one of the cooks came out to wipe tables and addressed us on how our food was (which we said was great!). The (real) bacon cheeseburger and fries were tasteful and the (seasonal) berry salad was made from quality & fresh produce! We had no dietary, substitutes or special instructions. We were traveling through Harrison, back to mid Missouri and stopped for lunch. It was our first, but definitely not our last, time eating at Beef a Roo. The food was amazing. By far the best fast food we have ever eaten. There were 4 people in our party and all of us ordered different items. No one was disappointed. My son actually went back and ordered more to take home with him. Clarence, the owner, even came through the dining room and checked in with diners to make sure they were happy with everything. Super nice guy. I can't say enough about this place!! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. If you see a Beef A Roo, I highly recommend...

Haven't tried the food yet (will update once I do) but I did have 2 shakes. They both looked like vanilla and they both tasted like Vanilla. The problem is we didn't order vanilla. When a chocolate mint and a coffee shake both taste exactly the same there's a problem. My son HATES coffee but it wasn't until I noticed a tint of green on the bottom of my cup that we realized we were both drinking each other's. $10.50 for 2 smalls (they call it regular, but we all know how that game goes).

I'll try the food next week and give a more accurate overall score. In the meantime I hope this place actually tries flavoring their so-called...
