Buckets Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Harrison

Food was ok - had the bacon ranch grilled chicken tacos. Something was stale tasting - maybe the grill itself was dirty, who knows. But the bigger problem I have and the reason I’ll never go back to this establishment, is because there was a young immature female sitting at the bar talking to her friend who was a waitress standing behind the bar - and finally after listening to this loudmouth girl sharing her story with her friend behind the bar for 10 minutes and hearing the “F” word and a whole slough of other cuss words - I finally spoke up and told her she needed to keep her foul language to herself and that the patrons of this restaurant didn’t come here to listen to that. She then proceeded to try to tell me ( a grown man of 60 yrs, 6’4 270 lbs) that I needed to mind my own business and blah, blah, blah. Then her second friend who was younger as well and was my server and bartender had the gall to tell me she needed the girl and myself to stop - like I was doing something wrong in trying to get this punk kid to show a little respect and decency in a public restaurant where there were grown adults sitting all around her. If the staff and management there cannot control but rather condone that type of language by not saying anything - then they need to find new professions. we went here for a late lunch around 2:15pm. There were 6 people in the bar area, when we walked in nobody was at hostess stand, we waited for at least 5 minutes until we finally popped our head into the kitchen area to find someone, we finally got seated, and our server never came, so hostess took our drink order, then server finally came to our table, as she was walking out of the kitchen with our food she took a French fry from our plate & ate it. I saw this with my own eyes. then she came by once to check on us. We sat there for at least 10 minutes and I finally got up to go find somebody to get our check. All alone with people coming in the door just standing there looking puzzled also, 3 other customers did the same thing, having to go search for a server to get any help. The manager was on the phone, put her hand up to me & said Ill be with you shortly. wow I am a Chef myself and I have owned restaurant's and would never treat my paying customers this way. I had finally gotten my check & had to take it to the bar tender to even get help with paying. To say the least Buckets has lost my business. Very poorly ran. I could see if it was busy, but nobody was even in there. a total of 10 customers nobody was even in the kitchen when I popped my head in there....

I’m from out of town and this was recommended to us as a great place for food, especially when asking about a place for good burgers. So let’s break it down Service - 5 stars. It took a little bit for us to be greeted but seemed like a server mix up. Our server (Kenzie) was great. Hostess and other servers were really warm and inviting. Food - 4 Stars. I will say that the Buffalo Burger was fantastic. With the Blue crumbles it was awesome. Chicken tacos had to be returned as the chicken was cold. Flavor was great on the 2nd try. Ambiance - 4 stars. Only reduction was that the table wasn’t fully clean (the booth) so sliding in wasn’t ideal as I had to do some immediate cleaning to get to my spot. Normally I like to talk about the restrooms but I didn’t use it so can’t comment on the atmosphere and cleanliness of the bathrooms. Overall a solid dining experience. They do charge a 1.5% credit card fee which is interesting to me but hey, I understand the challenges with material and labor costs. The restaurant industry isn’t...
