Food was very good. However service was horrible 1/2 our table was served food the other 1/2 finally after trying to get the waitresses attention to which she would never respond to alas came to the table asked if we needed anything and we said yes the rest of our meals she never once apologized yet it took another 20 minutes we were going to leave but decided to wait it out due to the other reviews. Then we witnessed another waitress drop a salad and just kick it aside literally and kick it under the cooler so she didn't have to deal with it. After as my kids stated firm negotiating $11 if our meal was compt. But needless to say not sure if I will stop here again.
As you can see it took 4 weeks for them to respond to my review. For 1 we had sat at our table for original service for 10 minutes, then finally ordered received the 1st set of plates 20 minutes after we ordered sat there for another 15 to 20 trying to get the waitress attention to no avail finally did after seeing several tables around us receive their food including sushi and FINALLY getting someone's attention they went and checked on our order I watched them flounder trying to figure it out then 20 minutes later we received the sushi orders. As for DEMANDING I should have DEMANDED a MANAGER but I instead strongly suggested to the waitress that part of the meal get reduced after that big of a screw up. I can tell you that she had NO absolutely NO intentions of making any of our visit right otherwise she would have at least been apologetic she had the attitude of oh it happens deal with it. By the looks of your timely response as well as your wording says the same to me. Good luck in your future with your running of the restaurant. However, I will not be visiting it again when...
Read moreSo the day I decide to take my GF out for genuine Japanese food and I want sushi.....I can't order the surf and turf roll because they are out of filet mignon? My unsweetened tea had melted the ice by the time we were done figuring out what we wanted to order. I should have brought a flashlight to read the menu since the lighting was so dim. My GF got the chicken hibachi which was good and the soup and salad. We were one couple out of three total that were in the restaurant at the time. The wait staff was only helpful in choosing another dish since I could not get the surf and turf roll. No drink refills asked, and when my GF needed a to-go box for her hibachi meal the wait staff brought one single average size container. When asked for a second she brought a container even smaller in size. We were presented with the bill without the customary fortune cookies. When I asked about the fortune cookies, I was told that folks just grab what they want on the way out the door! Seriously?? Well, one time is enough I guess. Not impressed. I'd venture to bet they still don't have any filet mignon for the surf and turf roll so don't order that! This place is sure to die a slow and painful death unless things improve quickly. As for me and my GF we will try out some other place in the future. We've crossed this place off our list with...
Read moreFair price, good food and the menu has a good selection of things to buy. Our server got a little confused with my order. Wanted the Spicy Tuna Bon Bon, but got a spicy tuna roll instead. I still took it and ordered the bon bon. Been here a few times and have had an ok experience until now.
My major complaint is that, for whatever reason, another server who wasn't even waiting our table decided to tell me that she noticed our ticket and told us that we were paying a lot, and next time we should order the platters to save money. After I explained that I don't care for the platters and I only buy the things I enjoyed, she kept trying to push the platters as a "Cost savings" measure and hinting that I spent too much money or ordered too much.
I'm pretty sure you don't try to tell the customer that they are spending too much money or that they should save money by buying something they don't care for. It seemed very inappropriate to try and guilt trip me by questioning my spending habits on something I enjoyed. If you had argued it as a suggestion, I would not of been upset, but after telling her that I didn't need it, and that none of the specific ones I buy are on the platter and you continue to push it to the point of getting us a to go menu and Insisting I look it over, that's pretty brazen.
I won't be...
