While staying in Harrison I was yearning for some good Italian food and a co-worker suggested we come here. We were greeted at the door by the host/manager who was very engaging and stayed helpful throughout our entire dining experience! The menu is loaded with lots of interesting and tempting specialties, more so than most Italian joints. They have a huge selection of veal in the veal section of the menu! They have four soups to choose from, lots of house made pastas and many other dishes as well.
They started us with their complimentary bruschetta which was very fresh and tasted great! Their table bread was really good and came out nice and warm. I started with pasta fagioli and it was really nice – no meat, but lots of white beans and pipette style pasta. My entrée was their ham and fontina stuffed chicken with marsala sauce – it was AMAZING! The veggies that came with it were great too, especially the potatoes. But that chicken couldn’t have been more flavorful and perfectly prepared on its own – add to it that amazing marsala sauce and it was truly an incredible dish!
I wanted some pasta too, so I got a side of Bolognese. It was quite a big side and I didn’t think I’d finish it, but once I started eating it, I couldn’t stop. It was incredible! The sauce was amazing!
They have plenty of cocktails and a nice wine list too. I’ll most definitely return when back...

The head waiter was a charmer, and we enjoyed his company, the food and mannerism of how we were sold the dinner specials was the big problem, head waiter highly recommended a plate from the specials which with his charm and finense we all agreed on, was a fish called basa (swai ) which is imported (vietetman) which happens to be banned for consumption in the United States, due to this fish being highly contaminated with bacteria from being farm raised in sewage water. No one at the table had ever heard of this fish, but with his finesse we all ordered it, fish was tasteless, and dry. But the joke was on us when we found out at bill time, that our tasteless catfish ended up costing us over 26 dollars a plate, we were never told the price of any of the specials, just never expected dirty catfish to come with such a price tag. Also, we were given water and than charged for it. Luckily for this place no one from the party got sick from this dirty fish. Overall found this place way over priced for its location, and won’t recommend this place to anyone. And we won’t ever be celebrating another...
Read moreWe happened on this place randomly when going home. I'll start by saying we had a toddler that was being finicky. We called ahead to ask if they had a high chair (they do) and to make a reservation within 7 minutes. They told us they'd have it ready and they did. We got to the restaurant and, as a first, the table was set with the high chair already in place. They quickly rearranged the place settings so he couldn't grab at things, and this basic attention to detail really struck us as we never see it elsewhere.
So, service is great.
The waitstaff was overwhelmed because there was only 1 waiter and 1 server to work the entire room. The experience didn't suffer. They worked very hard all night to be attentive and welcoming. It's clear they care about the experience as well as the food.
We ordered the ossobuco which was lovely. We also ordered the flounder on a bed of crab meat which was also very nice. My toddler devoured the minestrone which was tasty but not greasy, and that made the rest of our night much better. Full-bellied toddlers are happy toddlers!
Food is good, service is great. Definitely check...
