Being so close to where I live, I decided to give Wendy's a try. I biked there and found no bike rack. Ok, unfortunately that happens but that's ok. -1 point. Then I enter the door before the actual restaurant and I sense this terrible smell of something together with the scent of a cleaning product. Something happened (probably someone puked, to be honest) and they tried to clean it, but it was not enough. OK, -2 points, but I was very hungry. I enter the place and this employee gives me this look of disapproval, and she mentions to her colleague "Well, they ARE coming in". They were probably trying to clean it, or maybe I got there when they were about to close, or something, but no one said anything, no signs, no apologies to the customer and my patience was already running low, in less than 2 minutes. -3 points. But I was hungry. Then I am waiting in line and they had this employee that was probably new, he was a little lost, and that is ok. I've been there. He asks the other employee "Hey, do you know how to do this? Your name... hmm...is it Amber?". The other dude gives him another look of disapproval and says loudly: "DUDE, YOU ARE LOOKING AT ME!!". So rude, a bully, unhelpful and just an idiot. And then he looks at me and has the nerve to smile, like he was amazing for treating the poor beginner boy badly. At this moment I left and I am never...
Read moreMost of the time, things go smoothly here. I almost always go thrhrough the drive thru. New Year's eve they apparently didnt want people to use the drive through because they wanted to close early, maybe...? There was a car, with a person in it, sitting just into the entrance and before the ordering mic. I sat behind this car 10 min before I realized it. about a week after that, as I made another attempt, there was a flag and some cones blocking the drive through. Yesterday at about 5:30, I got.in.the.line waited.about 15 behind.other.customers, got right up.to.the.mic,.stated.to.order,.and.the guy says that if I want.to.order,.i have to.come in. Luckily I have a larger vehicle.and.was able.to drive over the yellow curb and.out of the line. I honestly get the impression that sometimes they just dont feel like serving drive thrus and choose not to at whim. I love Wendy's and their food, but maybe it's time for an employee...
Read moreTheir sign saying they won't accept $50 or $100 bills needs to be bigger and before you get to the actual drive thru window. Alot of people carry cash, and there are many who may only have that as a form of payment. To not accept that legal tender, is displacing many of your customers, some that would've already placed their order when they were notified of your business rules and either wouldn't be able to order, or would have to go elsewhere to break their bills smaller and come back to get their food that they'd already had the money for when they were there, to begin with. In some people's cases, mine in particular, they may not go there often to know of your policy and could've made the stop on their way to taking care of payday errands, maybe having just left the bank, where they were given big bills unless explicitly asked for smaller ones. It just makes no sense.. please...
