Tl;dr ā itās fine if youāre just stopping for gas. Donāt even try going inside for food or a friendly experience
I appreciate that they work with mudflap for a smooth, seamless gas buying experience. 3 stars for great gas prices and the kind gentleman behind the main counter!
But as I tried to grab a convenient, quick meal my experience was not great at the food counter. I was ignored for the first few minutes as the person behind the counter was price marking or unpacking a box..at the counter where they could see me approach and would have heard my āexcuse meā
I understand there was probably a lot going on behind the scenes that I couldnāt see, so I tried to stay kind and gracious as I wanted to order one of the highlighted items on the marketing images. Instead I was met with a very unwelcoming experience and a response that it would take 20+/- minutes for the promoād item.
While I would have had no issue waiting, I chose not to based on my interaction with the person behind the counter. My 20 minutes of time and energy were better spent heading over to a QuikTrip where I was greeted warmly, where they quickly and efficiently took my food order, and where I left happily with food in hand ready to enjoy a delicious breakfast burrito. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI stopped while traveling across the country towing a large trailer. I noticed the trailer tire was low. The air pump is in a terrible location, but I managed to get my trailer backed up to where I could put air in the tire. I start to fill the tire and I noticed it getting flatter. Well, turns out the compressor is broken, so instead of air in, I let all the air out. I go in and tell the people and the guy behind the counter gets mad and goes storming outside. He proceeds to tell me I have to use a pen to push the back of the air chuck. Then he gets an attitude when I ask if I can borrow his pen. I ask if I can get a credit or refund and Iām told no & Iāll have to pay to even try again. So I do, it still doesnāt work. The guy disappeared by the time I went back in. So, I went from a low tire to a flat tire and I was stuck in the parking lot unable to move my trailer because it would have completely destroyed the tire. The people who were there didnāt seem to care at all that their air pump deflated my tire. In the 2+ hours I was sitting there waiting for help, no one even bothered to put an out of order sign on...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited this Caseyās location specifically for their pizza, which Iāve enjoyed many times in the past. However, this visit was a disappointment. Upon walking in, I immediately noticed the employees standing around in a group, talking amongst themselves. None of them were actively assisting customers or attending to the food area.
To make matters worse, there was no pizza availableānone whatsoever. No slices, no whole pies, nothing. For a store known for its hot, ready-to-go pizza, this was frustrating. There were no signs explaining why the pizza station was empty or when it would be restocked.
Unfortunately, the lack of service and available food left a negative impression. I hope this was just an off day, but itās not what Iāve come to expect...
