McDonald's — Restaurant in Hartford

I usually go to here when it rains so my 2 year old can use the playscape. Today we had such a bad experience, we will NOT be returning.

My daughter came down the slide only once and the back of her body was all wet. We went to the bathroom to see if she had an accident but she was not wet in the front at all and she used the toilet. I told the manager and he said I'll call the maintenence man. I asked him, will it be soon, we will stay and wait so she can play because I had a change of clothes. He did not answer that question, just walked a few feet away and started doing something with food. I asked again, but I was ignored by him and the other 5 employees within ear shot. I waited for a minute but he did not come back. I went back to the play room and changed the sign from open to closed myself so that another kid didn't have to experience the disgusting puddle on the slide too. I could not believe that no one closed the room immediately.

There's no way I'll bring my daughter back. I am telling everyone I know with kids what happened at this location. I am also calling the health department.

It doesn't matter how busy a restaurant is, it only takes a few seconds to turn around the sign and lock the door and that should be a PRIORITY. It is a fact that accidents happen. It's no one's fault. But when brought to the attention of the manager, they should be...

The WORST MCDONALD'S IN SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND !!!!!!! This location should be closed !!! The parking.lot is laden with pot holes !!! Regularly the doors are locked @ 9: 30 pm though the signage on the doors states that the interior of the restaurant is open until 11:00 pm !!! In the morning the same doors are locked when they are supposed to be open at 5:00 am !!! The ice machine nearest the counter has been inoperable since late September of 2017. The other ice machine is broken and has to filled manually ... Frequently it runs out of ice; and, patrons have to line up at the counter & beg for ice !!!!!!! The air conditioning unit in the middle of the restaurant leaks every summer; and, it can take weeks for it to be repaired !!! The restaurant booths are in need of repair ! The restaurant is seldom clean !!! The bathrooms are dirty !!! The service is mediocre ! Patrons regularly have to return to the counter because their order is wrong !!!!!! Frequently patrons leave rather than wait to place their order ( the staff is SLOW !!!) French Fries are often cold !!! THE RESTAURANT CLOSED ON JULY 1st because they did not have enough staff to keep it open !!! SHUT THIS MCDONALD'S DOWN...

I've been coming to this McDonald's very sparingly for about a year now, as my work office is right up the street. I've predominantly gone through the drive-thru for a quick batch of fries on the way home from work to hop on the highway, around 5 pm (so, dinner time, rush hour, super busy). They've always accommodated well in the drive-thru food-wise. The customer service has always sucked, but I didn't harbor on the short tempered teens taking my order hastily with some attitude, because the fries and occasional nuggets or cookies were always super fresh. I recently began taking public transportation, so now I walk in to the restaurant at lunch time (I went in today at about 2:15). Each of my past three (3) dine-in visits were trash. The fries are lukewarm and seem stale or are made with older grease. On two separate occasions, they shorted me a nugget or two in an order of six, and I was not greeted positively during any of my encounters with staff. In sum, I cannot pin point whether my presence dining in or the time of day affected my experience, but the disparities...
