So of all the McDonald's that we somewhat regularly (on and off) go to. This is probably the second to worst one that I've been to in my life. They CONSISTENTLY mess up orders and sometimes completely (being another person's order). We keep going to this one in White River Junction, Vermont, because it's the closest one to our home. Here's my list to date (depending on memory, too): have had missing kid's meal toys, received incorrect requested toy(asked for the Barbie, got the Hot Wheels), swapped and received other customer's orders, have gotten other children's kid's meals,, had missing items on WAY too many occasions, asked for no ice (1/3 ended up having it), [ordered a BIG Mac(first time in my life EVER ordering/trying it) got it without the staple Mac sauce, it was a huge mess, and half the cheese was on the inside of the box], have received cold fries, received EXTREMELY salty fries, and gotten hard as rocks can't-chew-that-sat-all-day fries, too.. This last time we went, we were going to order 4 apple pies(which they don't typically keep on the ready to my knowledge, we usually have to either wait 8-12 minutes or get none), but they said they had none, so we asked if they had any apple fritters instead, they checked and stated that they had 2 left. We told him we'll take 'em. Y'know what we came home with?.................. 2 strawberry cheesecake pies!........ SMH They were delicious, the problem was the apple fritters cost more, so we didn't get what we paid for. Just so you know, if you get quarter pounders, they make them FRESH fresh (like as per order) and usually ask you to pull ahead to wait a lil' bit while they make them, which doesn't bother me. Sometimes I wonder if the whole crew's toked up too much or what. I will say the last time we physically went in to order, there was a SUPER nice lady working the register. She was extremely attentive, very happy, pleasant, fast paced, and helpful. Got that line moving and the smiles staying. The other lady that works in the morning shift(not sure if she's a manager or still there) she was SUPER infectious happy, brought the orders to the tables so pleasantly, kept her regulars VERY happy, and made them feel important. Could tell just watching her that she loves making people happy and is happy to do so. Get a couple more employees like that and accurate, efficient orders and the business would...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStopped here to feed my travel crew. The place has been remodeled, that's not exactly great. There is NO TRASH in the bathroom. The sink was COVERED in water, but since they don't have any paper towels any more (remodeled), they don't feel they need a trash can, but it is a RESTROOM, and people are gross. I wiped off the sink, but didn't want to flush the napkin, so I threw it in the compost bin outside the bathroom door, then I had to wash my hands, my short travel companion would have been disgusted if they had to get wet before eating, simply because McDonald's doesn't want to pay for trash, or have to sort the trash. Don't have bathrooms for the public if You can't have a clean, tidy, DRY bathroom/sink, a blow dryer is moot when a mop or a rag is the answer. The longer this review, the more reasons I find to take stars away. We were going to eat here, we double checked our foods, then sat around the corner, by the new wall. The child high chairs were across the isle, I couldn't believe that I was smelling fecal mater, but it was unmistakable. I was polite, as there was a small group in the corner booth and I didn't want to inadvertently make it seem as though I wanted to move because of them, but that smell caused me to move our party to the back of the place. I was so disgusted I talked them into leaving and eating in the rig, I finally told them in why we were no longer eating at the tables. I can't believe I was smelling fecal matter in a restaurant, nor can I believe that the high chairs don't get wiped down after use, it was so clearly gross. This place is the middle point for most of my trips, but I think I'll have to stay on 89 and find a place somewhere else, there's places, I just miss my Grandparents and come to this town where they were last alive together for my whole life. This trip cured any 'want' or desire for anything McDonald's; get food, but don't expect to smell the food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell, where do we start? Letās start with how rude the employees can be when ordering food I ordered a meal with a shake so I said to her I said please make sure thereās no Cool Whip on top of the shake so she replies itās not Cool Whip and I was kind of stunned so she was rude because instead of saying no whip on the chocolate shake, I said no Cool Whip. Something is seriously wrong with this picture. I have talked to the manager of both West Lebanon and white river location and apparently nothings really getting done because everyone is still rude as hell there iām going to try to reach out to the manager one more time. I doubt anything is going to change this isnāt our first rodeo with these people itās either they forget things or the order is not right or the foods cold or sat there a long time before it was served customers and thereās been many times where we be sitting at the drive-through and people are doing some pretty...
