Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Hartford

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!!! I ordered two extra large pizzas. I got one extra large and one large, so i called them up to tell them that I have got the incorrect pizza. They told me that the pizza is of the correct size its just "looks" small. I told them it has 8 slices, (a extra large pizza is supposed to have 10), their response was that it was cut wrong. I didn't want to argue so i went along. Once we started having the pizza we realized that it had pepperoni in it, and we specifically asked to not put pepperoni in it. The person who picked up the phone said that they want the pizza back and they will send me a new one. I agreed. 90 minutes later there was no pizza, everyone who came for pizza left. So at 11 PM in the night i call them again. A different person picks up the call now. I explain to him the situation, he tells me the person who attended the call earlier doesnt work here regularly. I told him its not my problem and I am supremely disappointed at the service. His tone changed and said this "I am trying to tell you what happened, are you going to listen or not?" I promptly asked his name, he said "my name is nothing" and hung up on me. This guy didnt care how Papa Johns customers were treated. I felt cheated and utterly humiliated, and by reading the other reviews from this store, I know I am not the only one. I will forever regret choosing Papa Johns. every time, absolutely every time I order from this store they manage to deminish my expectations and opinion of the human race. the first time I ordered from this location they took one hour and 45 minutes to deliver, amazingly the food was still warm. the second time I ordered 3 pizzas, desert a bottle of coke , and some extra dipping sauses. They took an hour & 20 minutes to deliver that time, and they forgot one of my pizzas and the extra sauses. the delivery guy said he would be right back but after over an hour again I had to call and even still it took another 30 minutes. By the time the 3rd pizza came it was after 10:30pm and we started the order at 6pm. I decided I would never order from them again. So today ( a Monday ), after 2 months I had my kids over and so I broke down and ordered from Papa. lets just say I should have knew better. I kept it simple, 1 pizza and hot wings with one side. and again it took over 1 and a half hour to deliver and they forgot my side. and to top it all off I am given a how dare you call and complain attitude when I called to complain. So I am here to say I will never deal with this Papa John's ever again and unless your ok waiting over an hour and a half for your pizza, I recommend ordering from any place else be for you order...

Usually I go inside the branch and I have a good experience. However tonight was very different when I ordered delivery. The box was brought to my door and it wasn't even in the pizza bag. The back of the box was ripped and I can see the pizza and on top of that there were three greasy fingerprints on the front of the top of the box as if the pizza box were opened and the pizza was touched and then the box was closed. There are also other spots of grease on the outside of the box. When I called to ask for a refund because at that point I did not feel safe eating the pizza I was told whatever. I asked the person on the phone if I could get a refund and the person proceeded to say whatever and I said this is a yes or no question and he proceeded to say whatever. I did not get off the phone until he told me that he would give me a refund finally he said he canceled the order. About 15 minutes I received a phone call asking if I would like another pizza from someone who sounded a lot nicer, but I told them no I don't feel safe. Food is very personal and the fact that the box was slightly open in the back was sketchy enough and the grease things were even sketchier. But to be told whatever I'm done with this place.
