Yes, yes!!! My goodness I am thrilled that I had called here this morning to ask if they had salt fish and akee on the menu today, the gentleman responded “we have salt fish and akee everyday!” My fiancé and I went, he’s never had Jamaican food so we walk in and first impression was everything!!! The aroma was incredible! The food all looked delicious. Despite coronavirus regulations you can still feel the ambiance. We took our saltfish and akee with fried dumplings, and beef patties with coco bread to go, we were grabbing drinks when the gentleman noted to me their homemade carrot juice. DELICIOUS!!! We will certainly be back the curry goat looks amazing as well as the red snapper. My visits to Hartford will always include a visit to Seashore Jamaican Restaurant from today on! This is one of the best restaurants in Hartford and CT for that matter. I have been going there for quite some time and I can tell you one thing. There is no sugar used to make their food taste so sweet. Only good old fashion Jamaican down home cooking. They have recently upgraded the place and now have happy hour and a little get together room separated from the small dining area. This restaurant has also been called Ed’s due to the owner name. Seashore has some of the friendliest warmest staff. They are quick and curious and humorous.

Terrible terrible experience. I walk in the man does not recognize me at alllllll. I’m standing at the counter and he does not look at me once. I’m in line then a man comes in still no recognition. He finally says how can I help you to the man who came after me. The guy says she was before me. I ask him can he pls give me a soup that’s all I came here for and he says this man is waiting for grubhub order. I tell you it’s only because I need the soup why I didn’t walk out the door.
