I had the oxtail , a smoothie and a complimentary chicken soup .The small is a generous portion .. The soup was amazing and just right.

If an American who can't do spicy or anyone with a sensitive tummy asked me I'd recommend without reservation because it is not at all screaming Jamaican spicy. It's whispering and hinting...although the soup was definitely the flavor it was also of the mild variety. I was so happy to see puri on the menu but there wasn't any to try. The smoothie was customized and very good. I would need to maybe try something curry next time before I recommend to a Jamaican or other islander... but it's perfect for Americans. I know that although a little late for me to eat spices that this will not hurt my tummy in the night! Last but not least it's Christian and that's something else I was grateful for! Update: I went to this location today to get my usual order and was approached by one of the ladies during checkout. She automatically noticed who I was and apologized for overcharging me for the plates she charged me for on my last visit. The owner of the establishment arrived to the register and apologized for the poor experience and charge. I was offered a discount and the owner explained that he was trying to reach out. I appreciate his efforts to make amends and the food is the reason why I always end up back here. Thank you!

I usually come here from Glastonbury to order food. I order the large plates of food. Today I asked if I was able to get 3 more EMPTY containers of food to serve my family as our kitchen was undergoing renovations and was charged $2.50 for 3 small plates. I woke up feelin like trash this morning and wanted, no NEEDED, something good in me. Pause. Press play. I been lookin at this place every time I go round the avenue and decided, why not give it a shot? The menu is on da wall. Let that be a warning for the absolute cookery you're about to experience. You not ready. I had to get up on that Jerk chicken w tha sauce of course, rice n peas with gravy, vegetables.
