So it's been a little while since this happened I would say maybe a month ago but I was so disappointed in this Subway I was just never going to go there again but something has to be said! The bad: I don't know who put upper management in their positions but I think it's passed time for a serious employment review!! My husband and I waited a little while in line because only 1 girl (Ashley) was doing everything and I mean EVERYTHING alone all while Zack (the store "manager") was off to the side in the back in clear view playing on his cell phone completely ignoring customers and the fact that there was a line almost to the door, she kept a smile on here face continuously greeted everyone as well as apologizing for the wait... So finally it's our turn to order she was very polite and also apologized to us as well for the wait, then in the middle of her making our subs which by the way it wasn't slopped together like everyone else does it there, it was probably the best looking sandwich I have ever seen haha then mr "manager" appears but not to help her but to tell her she had the bread facing the wrong way??!! What??!! I thought he was kidding but I was wrong he actually stood there until she "fixed it" then he went back in hiding. I asked her if they were the only 2 there she said yes so I asked if I tipped who would actually get it she said "we all split credit tips" which is crazy some just aren't deserving of it at all but said since he's store manager he doesn't get cash tips so it would just be her" so I gave her a nice fat cash tip!!! She was so humble and Thankful throughout the whole ordeal!! She is and will be the only reason I will ever go into this...
Read moreI live in Hartville, so this store is only one close to my home. The service and sandwich making is not up to par the last several months. There is a lack of employees to do the job, and they aren't always friendly. They are being skimpy on the amonut of meat being used, and the veggies are not always looking fresh. Today when I went into store at 3pm, only 2 employees, and a line of customers. They are touching way too many other things than food with their gloves on, not very sanitary. The meat that falls on countertop should not be put on sandwich, should be thrown out. When veggies get to very bottom of container, and are smashed and look bad, I don't want them on my sandwich. I asked for new fresh tomatoes, and got some attitude. It's my sandwich that I'm going to eat, and what I'm paying good money for. So, I should be able to get it how I want it. I don't load up my sandwich with every vegetable like most customers do. So, the few items I get on mine, I expect to be fresh not squished or old looking. I have been in this particular store at different times of day, and always see long lines and not enough help behind the counter. The cleanliness of the food prep area needs to be stepped up also. Read moreI ordered 7 subs and a salad . I checked the salad once I got into the car , and it was missing half of the ingredients, (and the bowl was only half full ) I requested via the app. They had stirred all the avocado into the salad , which was about a cup of lettuce and spinach, two little pickle slices , two little pieces of tomato and maybe 4 black olive slices . It was by far the most pathetic attempt at a salad I’ve ever had . Went back in and they fixed it . Once I got home , None of the subs were labeled . I checked the rest of the order . One sub was missing . The chicken bacon ranch melt was not melted and was absolutely drowning in ranch . The club was missing the bacon as well as some toppings . One was entirely wrong . Out of the 8 items I ordered , one was missing , and 4 were made incorrectly ( I compared them to my order details so I am 110% sure ) Went back to the Subway , and had everything fixed. One guy gave me some cookies for my trouble . All in all, what should have taken 20 minutes took over an hour from start to finish .
