Not sure what has happened to this establishment in the last year, however it has TANKED. We order from here at least once a month, have for years, since they opened. The last 3 times we have been up for a visit, the food has been getting worse and worse. This time the chimichangas where literally half the size, no cheese, and about two table spoons of rice and beans, and no salad. The 2 nacho supreme, one missing cheese & lettuce. The other missing missing tomato & cheese. Both missing sour cream😱⁉️ Wtheck🤐 Next, carnitas were dry and no seasoning at all, to the point the dish was not even finished eating. They forgot cilantro and onion, that was requested, but still got charged for. This was a dinner plate and was less food than the chimichangas ⁉️One bag of chips & one small 1/2 cup of salsa for all 4 entree dishes and a child's plate. Piss poor and unacceptable. 🚨⚠️ If you are going to pay $75 for lunch you should at least provide $50 of food and service. Side note, we went inside to place to go orders as we normally do, sat at the bar while waiting. Shot glasses, beer mugs and napkins with paper coasters all over the bar. Several tables were uncleaned from prior patrons. Two tables in the whole place eating. It was about 2:45 in the afternoon on a Thursday. Thirty minutes later when order was ready and we left the same messy tables were still in chaos. Come on we can do better. Or maybe new staff is needed and kept accountable....
Read moreWe are currently working on renovating our 130 y/o farmhouse a few miles from town with no appliances and we have eaten at this restaurant nearly every meal. We accidentally stumbled into Casa Grande and were very pleasantly surprised...they were not only cheaper than the other mexican-style restaurant we had previously frequented, but the food was much, much better quality and the servers and staff were much more friendly and not as 'stressed' feeling. DEFINITELY would recommend to anyone. They also have the country buffet on Wednesday nights, which is a nice 'naughty' change for us as we eat 'healthy' most of the time...the fried chicken, homemade meatloaf and peach cobbler are seriously to die for. Alberto has done a spectacular job with this restaurant and is always there working his tail off...at the other Mexican restaurant, the owner seemed always grouchy and too busy to take your money and you could tell the servers and staff were fussing at each other in their native language, made me stressed just...
Read moreWe usually love coming here for lunch or dinner. Our server we prefer was not available today sadly but the other server seemed friendly at first. That changed. I was disgusted with the food that was served it was more water then food. I ordered the chicken taco salad for lunch and my fiance ordered the fajita taco salad. The chicken had no flavor and the bottom of the shell was all water. Very little lettuce and cheese a half a slice of tomato and a scoop of sour cream finished my bowl off nothing else. My fiance was fine with his till he got to the middle and the steak in his bowl was over cooked rubbery and without flavor as well. We usually don't ask for much but I want food and edible food when I pay for it. I will not be going back for a long time. I was waiting for over 20 minutes for food and then waited 20 minutes to even get her attention then she ignored me and only talked to my fiance when I was the one paying for the food. She didn't even give me a chance to ask to have something else or...
