Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in Hastings

Very disappointed with our new dominoes pizza. I was very excited we got one but they are pathetic. Tastes good but their service sucks. First time I ordered I went in to pick it up and there were three people at the counter and no one even looked at me for five minutes. Then I decided a couple days later to order delivery. Excellent time but when I got it I could see why. They barely put anything on it. Toppings go on ALL of the pie, not just the middle! I'm spreading this around to other people. This is unacceptable.

Just seen a domino's delivery driver last night 7/10/18 driving while on the phone. Very unsafe.

Ordered again 2 months later to see if things improved. Delt with much better staff this time. They were a little busy but actually acknowledged my presence. However, I ordered the pasta and there was large clumps of cottage-cheese-like substance and didn't get the marinara sauce I ordered for the bread sticks which also had the large clumps in it. What the heck??? The pizza was better though except if you looked at the individual slices you'd think it was a half and half because some of the slices had all the ingredients and there were a couple slices void of certain ones. Are they doing this on purpose? Don't be afraid to take a few extra seconds to even it out guys. I would say things are improving but still keeping it...

People need to bring their patience and lose the attitude. It's a new food business in a small town. Anyone who has lived in an environment like that knows there would be a run on it the first few months and especially few days. If you don't have patience/time, you may want to wait and give it a try in a few months.Be nice to the employees also. A lot of them are new to this type of job and just learning. Some of you were not setting very good examples of being a basic decent human being with manners while you were waiting. I know, because I could hear your snide side comments about the waits times, etc. as I waited right along with you.

That being said the food was good. We had some pjzzas, no complaints there. We also had some bone in mango habanero wings which were awesome, perfect blend of sweet and heat!! We also tried a sandwich and it was just 'eh'. Not much meat (Phillysteak)in comparison to bread, but otherwise edible.

Overall it's what you would expect. Will be interesting to see how it is in...

So before anyone else says be patient or cook for yourself. Here is the deal. If you wanted to cook for yourself you would not have thought to order food. If you open a business, especially a franchised business you have done some research. So saying that. The pizza is good however, their service is questionable. Their training is especially poor which is reflected by the individuals that they have answering the phones. They did not even know their menu and honestly sounded intoxicated. They should have known their expected revenue and planned accordingly. When you call and you are placed on hold for twenty minutes, app does not work, and they have disabled their online ordering, possibly because they did not train or hire the right leadership team. It is pretty embarrassing for them. Like I said the food is good, it is different from what we have currently in Hastings. That only gets you so far. Service is a big part of the restaurant business.
