Mom's Real Italian — Restaurant in Hatfield Borough

This is the place in town to be and get ice cream! Lots of flavors, great kids working there and you can't beat the prices!

People would complain about a business that has long lines but in this case its because this place is truly the best!

Unlike other businesses that operate on "Cash Only" but dont display that clearly can be a bit frustrating but again that's not the case here as the signs are right upfront. Venmo is good stop gap for not having to increase costs and pass them to the consumer; as noted its a lot cheaper than your traditional Ritas without skimping on quality!

I’ve gotten ice cream several times here and usually it’s a pretty good experience but today was disappointing. I ordered a gelati with hard ice cream and was given a cup filled with water ice and barely any ice cream at all. I brought it to the woman’s attention and she said that’s what it should be. I told her I’ve purchased gelati’s there (and at the other location- rosemaries) numerous times and have never been given such a tiny partial scoop of ice cream. She didn’t fix the order. I should have refused the item but didn’t want to seem rude. I basically overpaid for a cup of water ice with not even a full scoop of ice cream which isn’t what I wanted and I was charged over $6 for. This is highly unusual. I never write reviews for places, but Mom’s deserves it! I have been there countless times last season and already this season. They absolutely never disappoint. Last year I thought they were open because I saw someone inside. They weren’t, but opened the window and were kind enough to give me a little bit since they had begun making things already. We went almost once a week last year and loved every visit. We’ve already been a few times since they opened for the year and it’s just a great as ever. The custard is divine, Italian ice is amazing, blueberry cheesecake ice cream is delicious, and today I tried the dole whip which is out of this world.
