This is more of an experience than a go-to restaurant. It reminds you of how the shed is along the Mississippi Gulf Coast it's an experience that's what it's actually famous for it couldn't be the food ..the food came out nice and hot.... the order was 100% accurate and very well prepared. The price was reasonable $8 basically for a hamburger with cheese and bacon with a really fresh bun. The drink was 100% mixed correctly perfect syrup and carbonation. I like the fact that you could go to the refill station and refill your drink without having to fight a long line like you had to to place your order. So with being very happy with the price and the food quality why not five stars? There was an employee there I will not reveal his name who had really bushy hair. The hair being flung and slung around and was brought to another employee's attention... not trying to get anybody into any trouble but when you look like a Sasquatch you really don't need to be working around the ice cream and open food. ( Wear a hair net if you're going to let that hair be flipped everywhere without care) When you sanitize and wash your hands remember when you rub them on the back buttocks area of your pants you're not really sanitizing them by doing that you've defeated the purpose of washing and cleaning your hands. Would I go there again I would not go out of my way to go there again. If I met someone for let's say a soft drink or something or I was starving yeah I MIGHT go but I would sure pay attention to who and what is preparing my food. The restaurant as busy as it was was very clean plenty of seating while I was there although at times it did...
Read moreRating this place anything but 5 stars should be a crime!!! I can't even begin to imagine what you wouldn't absolutely love about this place. Maybe you hate joy, happiness, great food and fulfillment...then ok maybe you wouldn't like this place. Fun ambiance and atmosphere with great quotes all over the place. Classic arcade games and an outdoor area with giant tic tac toe a bocce ball area the list goes on. Ok so now the food! This has reached top 5 burgers of all time status!!! Jam burger jam burger jam burger!!! I've had similar concepts in the past but this one outperformed them all and gave me the right amounts of savory to sweet. This wasn't just bacon, it wasnt just jam it was pure bliss! Make sure to add on a side if Ed's tots and your guaranteed to feel like a better version of yourself. Also don't miss out on these calorie overload creations they call shakes! Love Capn Crunch Crunchberries as a kid? Well you're in luck as they've mastered the art of making a shake from the cereal and it tastes great! They also have super decadent over the top shakes if you just decide that you've already gone this far might as well send it to the moon however definitely not recommended to try and drive with. Again jam burger, Ed's tots, capn crunch crunchberries shake along with some indoor outdoor fun is a...
Read moreWent here for lunch during the week of my child's fall break. The place had a good number of kids and families who all had the same idea. We ordered the kids burger w/tots, bacon burger w/onion rings, roadhouse burger w/fries, and the dirt outrageous shake.
The burgers were great, patties were thin (akin to a diner style burger) and the regular size ones come with 2 patties (which was unexpected). The fries and tots were great, especially dipped in the comeback sauce that comes with the onion rings. The onion rings were good, but a bit heavy on the batter. Next time we'll stick with tots and fries.
The shake was delicious. It was huge, chock full of Oreo, massive amounts of whipped cream, a fudge ring, and chocolate syrup. We gobbled it up. Would go back just for this.
During lunch they also had a happy hour on beer. A Goose Island was $1.50. Can't beat that price.
Overall, highly recommend this place for...
