After reading the positive reviews on yelp. I wanted to have sushi and fried rice. The restaurant is a very cute sushi restaurant. It is nicely decorated, and the ambience is nice. I was greeted by one server. I Sat down served me water provided me with a menu when I walked in. I was the first person to walking into that restaurant during lunch hour. There was already a couple who had already ordered their food and we’re eating so when I place my order for my sushi roll I was so surprised how fast it came back! I was delighted! I requested for some spicy mayo. Within that timeframe multiple people walked in for lunchtime and take out order and the waitress lost track of my spicy mayo for 15 minutes so I sat there not touching my food waiting.
It wasn’t until I had to get up and go to the counter and remind her about the spicy mayo it took another 15 to 20 minutes to get the fried rice. I was not served water on a second time and by the time the food came out I just wanted to go home. I was already upset and wanted to leave. I would say the sushi was really fresh. The fried rice was kind of bland deafly not worth waiting. 30 minutes for will...
Read moreAn enjoyable experience all around. The food is well prepared, never had meat with any extraneous bits attached to ruin the texture. We enjoyed the Thai, Chinese, and Sushi. A welcome suprise to have pretty even quality throughout. The food is consistent. Having eaten dine in or take out at least 6 times in the last 2 months we can say we were always pleased. I am picky, and just about never leave reviews. But this place deserves my effort because you can tell they put effort into what they offer their customers. The service is very pleasant and attentive. The restaurant is clean and I liked the music, relaxing, good for conversation. It is the old Sola location, a restaurant I would take my wife to back when we were dating. I only tried the current Tao One restaurant because of the reviews. The outside of the building is simple, nothing that has ever caught my attention since Sola closed. But I was happy after popping in for lunch one day, and now it is on our dine out rotation! Also, the pictures must be of them catering events, you do not sit...

We’ve eaten here several times since Tao One opened in April and have enjoyed each meal and entree we’ve had. Daniel, Hannah, and their staff are friendly and attentive and prepare each meal to order. Having spent months at a time in Tokyo my sons and I are certified sushi snobs. Chef and owner Daniel Lin’s selection of fresh fish and preparation of their sushi is always delicious and beautifully presented. The yellow tail with jalapeño, Cajun and Black pepper Tuna appetizers are some of our favorites. The pan fried pork Japanese gyoza are a perfectly prepared version of this Japanese comfort food. Some of our personal highlights from the entrees include the Chinese classic’s General Tso’s and Orange Chicken and the Thai Red Panang Curry and Black Pepper Chicken.
I highly recommend Tao One for your next meal - Excellent food, preparation, service and...
