Love the town of Bryn Mawr! My mom and I enjoyed taking in a few movies at this location. It's clean and well-situated. Parking was easy; but quarters were needed for meters. Always enjoyed the fine dining establishments and the rich history of downtown and the surrounding area.
Had a dog-walking gig, on-the-side, in this area amongst the huge mansions and estates. I sometimes used the servants entrance. Over time I walked two standard size poodles named Theo and Taylor, a pug named Utley, two Tibetan Terriers and a hybrid coyote/canine who knew his neighborhood path like a wizard. That family had two seal point siamese cats too! Was always a trip walking into that scene! Also walked an Australian Shepard who blazed a trail, with me lagging behind trying to keep up!

They offer classes based upon cinema for a fee where you will watch and discuss movies and movie making. Before most movies, you'll get a brief visit from one of several members of the theater's board who will give a short intro to the movie you are about to watch. For me, this was a pleasant way to start a movie and a reminder that when you go to see a movie at a theater, you are in the company of fellow movie lovers. They have popcorn soda and snacks available for a little less than what you pay at major movie theaters and the tickets themselves are right in the standard price range. Grateful that they are socially relevant films like Michael Moore's 11/9 which was timely and well attended...highly encourage everyone to view it and think about it no matter what side you think you're on now.
If you make it through the music without Popcorn, you may get lucky enough to take home a bag of leftovers, as they are high-minded enough to share it rather than wasting it. If you can't use it yourself you could gift someone less fortunate....
