Love the town of Bryn Mawr! My mom and I enjoyed taking in a few movies at this location. It's clean and well-situated. Parking was easy; but quarters were needed for meters. Always enjoyed the fine dining establishments and the rich history of downtown and the surrounding area. Had a dog-walking gig, on-the-side, in this area amongst the huge mansions and estates. I sometimes used the servants entrance. Over time I walked two standard size poodles named Theo and Taylor, a pug named Utley, two Tibetan Terriers and a hybrid coyote/canine who knew his neighborhood path like a wizard. That family had two seal point siamese cats too! Was always a trip walking into that scene! Also walked an Australian Shepard who blazed a trail, with me lagging behind trying to keep up! Frequented Starbucks often to keep up with the dogs! :) Wonderful times enjoying nature in a safe and beautiful part of the Main Line.

I went the other day with my 82 year old friend to see the new DOWNTON ABBEY movie. It was such a great movie!! And neither of us knew anything about the series, having never seen it! The whole experience was lovely - wonderful people taking our tickets, friendly folks at the concession stand (and reasonable prices!!!!!!), and such tidy bathrooms. I loved that there is a sink in every stall. My friend and I sat in the handicap seating and just thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!! Wonderful experience all around!!!!!! We will be back to see more movies at BMFI!!

Best place to watch foreign & indie movies. They also screen box office movies as well. There’s usually always parking behind the theater. The snack and drink prices are very reasonable, and since they’re non-profit I don’t mind spending my money there. If you’re a student they only charge $10 for a ticket. There’s a coffee shop sort of connected that serves good coffee and snacks too. You can bring your own food, but be reasonable.

Must visit place if you love movies. Always a good selection of limited release independent movies as well as classics. They offer classes based upon cinema for a fee where you will watch and discuss movies and movie making. Before most movies, you'll get a brief visit from one of several members of the theater's board who will give a short intro to the movie you are about to watch. For me, this was a pleasant way to start a movie and a reminder that when you go to see a movie at a theater, you are in the company of fellow movie lovers. They have popcorn soda and snacks available for a little less than what you pay at major movie theaters and the tickets themselves are right in the standard price range. It is a clean and well maintained business in a nice and friendly section of Bryn Mawr. There's lots of parking available in a public lot nearby. The lot is...

Beautiful historic building well-preserved and Visually very appealing, indoor Cafe style seating in a grand foyer is an unusual and quaint welcoming feature...

Grateful that they are socially relevant films like Michael Moore's 11/9 which was timely and well attended...highly encourage everyone to view it and think about it no matter what side you think you're on now.

If you make it through the music without Popcorn, you may get lucky enough to take home a bag of leftovers, as they are high-minded enough to share it rather than wasting it. If you can't use it yourself you could gift someone less fortunate....

Staff was really nice and friendly and Christian the manager answered questions himself when I phoned ahead to verify details...
