I want to love this place but the consistency is non-existent. I ordered 2 sandwiches at 7pm on a Saturday night. One was a turkey and provolone the other was the Genghis Khan. The GK was an Asian fusion cheesesteak; sweet & spicy but dripping with too much sauce which made it a mess to eat. The turkey hoagie was even worse. I ordered online via Toast. When selecting the Turkey & Cheese option you must complete the required and optional choices for your sandwich. Easy enough, Roll = Plain Cheese = Provolone Add on Protein = none Sandwich Add Ons = Lettuce, Tomato Sauces = Mayo That was how the sandwich was built, a plain roll, a paltry amount of turkey, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and mayo. When I unwrapped the hoagie and saw the layer of mayo slathered on top, all over the foil and down the sides of the roll my rage became untethered. How could anyone who prides themselves as a sandwich maker let this happen? No sane sandwich maker would mayo on top. There is a sandwich building process that everyone who has ever had a hoagie would know. Bread then sauce; whether it's mayo or oil and vinegar or anything else. Christ! they put the roasted garlic mayo on the roll when making the GK.
I am not a cynic, I do not leave reviews but this needs to be called out. Mr Wolf, If this is the standard procedure for how a hoagie is built in your establishment I am afraid you misunderstood the idea of "Superior". I am not impressed with the idea of paying $15 for a hoagie for it to be worse then a Subway sandwich. For $15 I would expect more meat (there was 3OZ of turkey in half the sandwich) and a better assembly process.
I am not calling you out Mr. Wolf. I am sure the blame is on the teenage boy assembling the sandwich. He was clearly in the weeds when I picked up my order. He was probably just assembling the sandwich based on how he read the ticket. But it is your sandwich shop, your livelihood and your responsibility to insure the help you have understand the basic principles of...

The food is only okay, the meats are alright but the cheese is cheap crap.
The service... That's something that should be on TV
I arrived at the time my sandwich was supposed to be ready to find a single employee (a teenager in sweatpants) who seemed shocked that there was an order pending. She called out for help
The person that came to help came from the alley behind the store, didn't wash, and made my sandwich wrong. He constantly readjusted his pants while working, complaining about the fit after he recently lost weight. His fingers went inside his pants seven times during his first attempt to make my sandwich.
Once he completed the sandwich he realized he hadn't read the order: I asked for no onions due to an allergy. He opened the sandwich, adjusted his pants again and picked the onions off with his filthy fingers. Then he wrapped it up and handed it to me.
While this happened, I watched the original girl use a calculator FOUR TIMES to figure out $20 - $14.82. She abandoned the register with the drawer open to go get her phone to help her do the math that used to be required to graduate 3rd grade.
On the way out I snapped the attached picture of a sign explaining that they can't work their merchant account and there's a "mandatory" credit card fee they don't control. This sign is a bald faced lie, the fee is controlled by the merchant and is actually against most merchant agreements.
The food, again, was...
Read moreWe were super excited that a sandwich shop opened up where Bria and Latella's used to be; we were so bummed that they closed and we were out good sandwiches so close to home!
We decided to get cheesesteaks as a good barometer and test as first-timers. Long story short, we will ABSOLUTELY be ordering from here again and can't wait to try some of the "crazier" sandwiches! If I had any complaints, and this is very personal to me and a pet peeve when it comes to all sandwiches, it is that I thought the cheesesteak was a BIT overstuffed (my husband would beg to differ...); I prefer a better bread to meat ratio. The roll went a little soft in transit to our house, I think from being so stuffed, and the fries were also a tad soggy since they are in closed aluminum containers instead of a paper bag so they sort of steamed themselves, but they were still very tasty. They definitely stay hotter in the aluminum containers, but we would almost rather the fries arrive a little cold in a paper bag and not be soggy, and we can just reheat them really fast in the toaster oven. But I digress...
The flavor of the cheesesteak was perfection, perfect distribution of onion and cheese...I sound like a cheesesteak nerd, but it was really really good and will definitely be added to our list of local cheesesteak (and hopefully other...
