I'm usually not the one to say anything about small stuff but the experience I had I feel needs to be shared. I ordered two burgers and a fry. Simple things added. There was about 7 people working the front, and I believe someone cleaning in the back. I waited about 15 minutes, it was busy (door dash and to go orders), so understandable. Both of my burgers got messed up, one missing a patty and the other had tomatoes instead of pickles. I don't mind that as much. I came back in and asked if I could just be given a patty on its own to add to one of the burgers since I did pay for two, it wasn't busy anymore. I said not to rush and I was polite, as I've worked in food service for years I wasn't expecting it instantly. The dude who helped me said "yeah" walked away. Preceded to not tell anyone else about it and just laugh off with his coworkers. I waited 10 minutes for the patty, someone else had come and help me at that time because the dude I asked walked into the back. There didn't seem to be any management and half of the workers were just sitting there, including the dude I had asked to grab me a patty.. I feel there needs to be management at night or just a better hiring process because small issues like this are ridiculous. Especially since five guys pays pretty well for a food...
Read moreThis place was an absolute joke. When we arrived there was only one other lady in the place as a customer. We waited over 25 mins for a little burger and a regular burger. My husband while waiting decided he wanted to add fries. When he went back up to order the lady walked away and kept him standing there… no acknowledgement what’s so ever. My husband stood and waited patiently and finally after waiting for an additional 5 mins after the girl walked away he walked back to our table. Her friend comes walking in… the girl immediately walks over and takes her friends order. 23 mins for 2 burgers and only 4 customers in there… a bit ridiculous. When she called our number finally, I asked how long it would take to add a fry and she laughed and said you will have to wait. We are short staffed. What a joke! Read moreI would like to praise their store manager Jane, who works at the Haverhill store on Plaistow Road, she went above and beyond and was truly an angel to me. I went into the store on a busy Sunday afternoon to grab some food for my sister who is recovering from surgery, I live on the south shore and was visiting. While in the store I threw away some trash and it wasn't until I was on the highway heading home that I realized within the napkin I threw out were my son's retainers 😬. When I called to store and explained what happened Jane went out back to the dumpsters and actually sifted through the bags and found them.
